      @@FlemLoRaps Facts! I grew up! A Jags fan since the expansion! Many rough seasons! But I’m always pulling them! They are either a step away from a Super Bowl or a Step away from going 0-16 😂. I met Jimmy Smith at one of my Flag football games when I was younger. Though he has had some struggles. He seemed like a nice good guy for the most part! He could tell I was shy when I saw him. Usually I was the kid who didn’t want to bother celebs or athletes when I saw them because I figured everyone was bothering them. So when we made eye contact I just smiled and waved and continued to mind my own business lol. But he waved me over asked how I was doing,about school, asked about my flag football season, and of course asked about the Jaguars. He then offered me an autograph told me to keep up the good work and sent me away with a smile. It was an awesome interaction for just a few minutes that I’ve never forgot. I really appreciated it!
      Love the vids and contents as always fam! Appreciate your writing rhetoric and storytelling! Hopefully the Jags can go Deep with your Bengals this year! Go Jags!

    Being a Jags fan is hard. Being a Jags fan in your 20s who basically can't recall the late 90s and early 2000s when the team was at its peak? Nothing but pain. I remember being 16-17 and rewatching any old game I could find of the team to relive those days and I can tell you we used to be as competitive as anyone in the league. I really feel like things got out of hand with the 2011 draft when we took Gabbert, and nothing went right till 2017. Every single year they put up a graphic at the NFL draft when it's our time to pick that says something like "made playoffs once in X number of years". People seem to translate that as we were always bad and always will be. With Boselli getting into the HOF and people like you giving credit to Smith and Taylor, it gives me hope again we will find some great players and see more HOF candidates on the team.

      @bordaz1 Před rokem

      I became a Bears fan, and NFL fan, when Jimmy Smith was at his peak. I think the League was more crowded with talented #1 receivers than FlemLo gives credit for. Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Terrell Owens, Isaac Bruce, & Torry Holt all went off when Smith was having his best years, and both Chris Carter and Jerry Rice were still doing their thing. Even back then, Jimmy couldn't dominate headlines and ballots despite playing super well, and I think it was because of both this WR competition and misfortune of his '99 Jags losing THREE games to your Titans. If they had won that AFC title game and beaten the Rams in the SB, all of us would have known this story that FlemLo's highlighting!

J Smooth came into his own and into the National spotlight in the Jags improbable playoff run in 1996 as they beat the Bills (Kelly,Smith AND Reed) in Buffalo AND beat the Broncos (Elway,Sharpe AND Davis) in Denver. Who knew we had a Hall of Fame coach in Coughlin at the time. Playing in a small market makes it tough to make the Pro Football HOF. The Jags have struggled for years but those were some exciting times for the city. As a Bengal’s fan you know, BUT it can turn around with the right QB and schedule. Thanks again.

    Fred Taylor is one of or by far the most under-rated, under appreciated, overlooked NFL RB player of all time. Not to mention his personality and as a person is one of a scholar. He respects the game and the players that game before him and after him. He deserves and needs to be inducted into the HOF. Shame on the NFL.

    • @KeithZim
      @KeithZim Před 2 lety +5

      Love Fred Taylor!! But RBs hardly ever get into the HOF. Priest Holmes and Jamaal Charles both set or hold all time NFL records but played for teams that did not win in the playoffs. Charles yard per carry stats are unreal. I watched Priest score that record touchdown, from a goal line seat 3 rows back, that only lasted one season. RBs are just tools. Used and abused and forgotten about :( KC fan here LOL.

FlemLo is deadnuts right about a lot what he speculates, and the parts he wasn't right about I won't discuss because I would never discuss one of my childhood best friend's business with anyone. I talked to Jim right after the whole appendicitis situation and all I'm gonna say is Jerry Jones is a low down so and so, and I stopped pulling for the Cowboys at that point and I never will as long as Jones is holding the reins. Thank you, Brother for showing the world that Jim deserves a legitimate shot at the HOF. He's a wonderful guy and his parents were awesome.
