    Thank you.
    You mention "Alex" and how she set this up....who is Alex and where can we find a how-to video showing us how to pout this together?
    Can you please add a link in your video description & post here in the comments?
    Thanks so much

    Oh girl. I have used AAR for a long time. THIS IS GREAT!!!! So great! My kids never wanted to do the coloring and such with old activity books because they knew they would end up in the TRASH! This is good! So good! And if someone has to report, it also shows work completed!

    Great hack! I think I'm also going to make color copies of the activity sheets and keep the originals to utilize again (for repeat copying) when my second child is ready for the program!

      How did pre reading go? Is that for a child that can read already? is it too basic for a 6 y/o?

  • @juliesanders7771

    This takes up less space from what I am doing, but similar. I use a large three ring binder. At the beginning of the year, I removed all the lessons, then placed all of the pages for each individual lesson in sheet protectors. They are in order, so each time we start a lesson, I simply pull it out. Sometimes, I prepare several lessons ahead and other times I cut the night before. Either way, it has saved time just by pulling them out. They may end up in the trash once the book is complete, so now I wish I had just used this book. Now I will have to go through and pull all of them out which will take a little time. Oh well, it is nicely organized. I may convert to this method once we are ready to Level-up.

  • @shannonfbc1
    @shannonfbc1 Před rokem +1

    Oh I don't do it that way cause I reuse the curriculum so gluing and stapling would ruin it 😊 I'll have to stick to the binder with the each lesson in a page saver (activities can be filled out with dryerase on top of the page protectors and all the little activity bits are tucked neatly behind. Their huge and it's time consuming to put together but it works when you have a lot of children to cycle through each level with. Works for the consumables in most curriculum

    • @juliesanders7771
      @juliesanders7771 Před rokem

      This is what I do, but I only have one child, so I may use the notebook next level since it takes less space and I will probably throw it all away anyway (unless I decide to keep it for a few years for record's sake?). I can see if you have more children who will eventually use it, our method is best. It is nice and tidy.

    You could also use a portfolio folder with prongs and just 3 hole punch blank paper and do the same. I prefer that so you can still add things or remove things as desired.

    If you know that you’re going to use the curriculum a second time with the younger sibling, do you pre-copy all of the pages so that you don’t have to buy a brand new workbook or is it just easier/cost-effective to revise the workbook?

    • @marisnic9898
      @marisnic9898 Před 3 lety +3

      I know this is late but they reccomend adding all about spelling level 1 to their learning after they complete all about reading level 1. So they qould be working on all about spelling level 1 and all about reading level 2 together

    • @LittlePodschool
      @LittlePodschool  Před 3 lety +1

      Probably not, because you’ll be gluing them in. BUT, once you invest in AAR, all you’ll have to buy is the student pack for your other children. Hope that makes sense.
