- hey again, in today’s video i’ll be showing you guys my new and improved straightening routine, very cute for a nice day out. ☄️ It’s been a busy week so waking up, taking down my bonnet, undoing a few knots, and running out of the house has been suuper duper time efficient. This can typically last a good week if you take care of it, use dry shampoo, and sleep with a bonnet / satin pillow case. Enjoy!

This technique is so bomb! My hair never really stays pin straight/sleek for long periods so this helps a ton at hiding it. The humidity over here doesn’t help at ALL 😭 thanks for watching 💛

Awww thanks so much! 💓 I plan on making more sit downy talky videos very soon :) my advice to you is to create your own vibe & stick to it (it’s okay to draw inspo from others as well, but twist it and make it yours!) be as consistent as possible, and use clear / concise thumbnails. Three biggest growth tips I have. Don’t be too concerned about equipment, use what you have, research and feel out what kind of aesthetic you like, and everything will fall into place when you’re ready to upgrade :) you’re gonna do amazing no doubt. Let me know when it’s up!

Gisou heat me treat me! It’s pretty pretty pricey I must say, (like $40) but it smells great and leaves a nice shine. A great dupe is the Mielle heat protectant spray! (About $8) :)

thank you so much!! I got them at a thrift store they were my favorites, I sadly lost them 💔 I think they’re easy to recreate though, all it is is a little green cats eye ball bead, you can get em on Etsy & attatch it to a hook if you’re feeling creative :)

Do you straighten your hair in the autumn-winter? I want to but I’m scared that it might get ruined quickly.
I usually do switch it up during colder months, only for about a week or two :) just be prepared, dry shampoo, satin bonnet/pillowcase, hair pins, light dry oils, hair perfume, and hairspray. ALSO a great deep conditioner before and afterwards makes a world of difference! I usually use my favorite DIY Greek yogurt mask :)
Ooooh also also heat protectant ofc. When my hair frizzes up and I want to prolong it, I use a good heat protectant whenever I want to re-apply heat. With this comb I put it on half the heat I used to straighten then gave it a good pass through whichever prices of hair were frizzing / acting up

I would suggest you look into no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
You should straighten and then trim ends. Otherwise, you end up trimming twice if hair does not look even.
You’re so right; Since I end up only straightening once in a super blue moon, then add a slight curl that hides the ends, I don’t mind too much when it’s a lil uneven when straight :) (also afraid of it reverting back weird, so many horror stories😩)
