Allure Vision To sum it up, Cristiano is the greatest goal scorer of all time. He can score in nearly any way with his body since heâs trained it at a tremendous level (almost like Lebron). But goalscoring is generally the only aspect of his playstyle that has been prominent for his career. Lionel Messi is different. He is hands down the greatest player of all time. He can just simply do more as a player. Heâs a better passer, better dribbler, better at making plays, and in terms of scoring goals heâs always able to keep up with Cristiano. Messi is a player that possesses multiple traits at a level that would be considered as another star playerâs best trait. Heâs 5 players rolled into 1. All while being 5â7 and 150 pounds. Compared to Cristianoâs 6â0 and 185. If thatâs not proof enough, seeing as how I called Cristiano the greatest goalscorer, the maximum amount of goals he scored in a year before is 69. Messi reached 91 back in 2012. At Cristianoâs best trait, Messi still practically dominates him in. But that canât make up for Cristianoâs physique.
I don't think it's a good idea to start a Messi Vs Ronaldo debate because it can get VERY VERY heated đ I have seen some sh*t, But as a neutral, the only way I can explain the difference between Messi and Ronaldo is this; Ronaldo is the greatest HUMAN footballer at the moment, while Messi is out of this world, he is an alien. This doesn't mean Messi is better than Ronaldo because for example, The Avengers being Earth's mightest heros can beat Aliens from space, that can be reversed too (Corny example đ). To conclude, people just need to appreciate that we are witnessing greatness from 2 different types of people and stop comparing them.

Its hard to say who is better between Messi or Ronaldo. Messi is without a doubt the most naturally gifted player to ever play the game but Ronaldo has driven himself right alongside Messi through pure hard work and determination. So its whatever you feel is more impressive. They both have won the Ballon d'Or (awarded to the Worlds best player) 5 times, Ronaldo winning the most more recently. Ronaldo has won the Champions League (The most prestigious club trophy) 5 times, which is the 2nd most in history. While Messi has won it 4 times. Ronaldo has also tested himself in different leagues across the world. In my opinion I would put Ronaldo ahead of Messi. Just for perspective Ronaldo has trained so hard over his career that at Real Madrid they ran tests on his fitness levels and physicality and at the age of 33 he has the fitness and strength levels that of a 21 year old footballer. Thats unheard of...

Hey Allure.......I love your enthusiasm and appreciation for Ronaldo's skills and for Football in general. As a former semi pro player a lot of the skills demonstrated come down to regular practise from a young age. I started playing aged 4.
With regard to heading the ball.......again practise plus making sure the ball hits the boney part of the forehead, avoiding injury and keeping your eyes open til the point of contact. The most important thing is to hit the target(goal) and a player will use the pace and angle /flight of the ball to his advantage. Some headers are aimed but as long as they hit the target with/without power then that's ok. Forgot to also mention that timing is also important in that to achieve optimum power and contact the player must time his run/leap so that he connects with the ball as fully as possible.

did u know that Ronaldo does 3000 sit ups everyday. He also works out more than most football, nfl, and nba players. He works out around 4-6 hours a day and then does football training for another 4-6 hours. He is simply a machine. The reason most football players are skinny because they have to run around for 90 minutes straight with speed and agility and if they are heavy they cannot do this. But all pros are extremely strong and each and every pro works out for at least 1-2 hours a day and does football training for another 4-6 hours. The amount of cardio they do restricts their gains but they are still very strong.
Theyâve got few years left in their career, its just sad that we may never see these two legends play again.

Fun thing: Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid to face Messi, after Barcelona (with Messi) beat Manchester United (with Cristiano) in the Champions League final of 2009. For years we had both in the spanish league. Those were some of the best years of the spanish league ever. Top notch football by every team to try to survive against them.
