    25:16 how to make a pre-visualizer for LEDs so you see how they light up

    but it will be great to see the actual outcome - same for the projection mapping

    Any idea how to implement RGBW color mapping?

      It's an extra channel, so instead of shuffling 3 pixels per LED you have have four.

    Hey :), where do I find the example files for the LED cube? Doing Volumetric LED Display in a Hexagonal Tunnel form! And the end of this tutorial seems like a perfect start.

    Does the end product of this video result in LEDs lighting up?

  • @johaomikaelmaringagne6179

    What about RGBW strip? I tryed to wrap my head around it on a gig. Ended up doing an average of rgb then a controled constant over the multiply of a Math CHOP. But I was wishing for something more neat then that.

    Is the tutorial you talk about on this video for 150+ led strips that would need a split between multiple universe available somewhere ? Many thanks for this great video.

      Okay so basically after shuffle 1 add an extend chop. Then youll want to connect another shuffle chop, but this time in its parameters under method select 'split N Samples' and take your led strip quantity for example, 300 pixel strip multiply by 3 so N Value = 900, enter 900 then connect another shuffle Split N Samples again but now you can choose 512 (but youll want 510 beacuse if its not a clean division number itll cause the light strip to invert the colors at the 150th pixel, you can tweak it for a longer pixel count) so 510 for the second shuffle N value. then add a math range 0-255, you can rename chop if you want, then null :)

    Thanks for this amazing video! You refer to a bunch of really cool examples near the end, but the code sample linked here doesn't include it. Are those files avail anywhere?

    • @TouchDesignerOfficial
      @TouchDesignerOfficial  Před 2 lety

      Sorry, we don't have those files around. This was recorded in 2017, so even if the files were dug up they would need to be reworked most likely as we'd use more modern approaches now.

    Trying to send DMX info via the DMXout Chop to my StageCL lighting board, but no luck. I read that ArtNet is capable of sending AND receiving DMX information. If that is true, would it be an equipment restriction on my lighting console, or I am doing something wrong? Currently, I am running TD on MacBook Pro 2014. I set the Network Address in the DMXout CHOP to the ArtNet IP Address on my console.

    Is there a tutorial where you show how to build a simple Stand Alone Windows Application?
    I want to build a control panel to access commonly Windows functionality in one place.
    Like change screen brightness, volume and some registry settings.
