Received all 6 Daylights today & rewatched this video & sniffed through them as you discussed scent notes. Fun! Tea Time is a surprising standout-black chai with orange. Salt Water Taffy smells just like strawberry salt water taffy. Seabreeze is unique-you’re right about green coconut & sea air (not a sun tan lotion scent). Avocado & Palm is beachy & fresh. I’m also not a floral fan- the green scent notes in Botanicals are interesting. Thanks again for sharing!☘️
Oh fun! Honestly, I think Sea Breeze is becoming a new fave and I was not expecting that. Burning it becomes a bit sweeter, but still fresh and beachy at the same time. THAT one is a huge winner for me. I will be needing some 3 wicks for this summer!
I'm a huge coconut candle fan so I got the sea breeze and wow honestly that's the very best beachy candle I've ever smelt so happy with it, i actually would love that scent in the 35oz candle size if they ever come out with that size, i am praying they do though lol.. such wonderful candles, I've gotten five spring scents so far.
YES! Isn't is absolutely wonderful? Probably my biggest surprise in terms of how much I like it. It's not my normal go to type of scent personally. But I LOVE it!

I live in Beavercreek and get nice snow every year based on our elevation. Not enjoying this late though!

Great review. Interesting, I also am mostly German, and I found out that I am part Swedish.
I guess it would make sense being that it's pretty close by lol. I just always assumed that I would not have any other countries pop up in an ancestry type test.
My mom was Swiss, (spoke fluent German, French, & English). My maternal grandmother was Swedish. Paternal grandparents were Irish. Our genealogy is fascinating! ☘️
Excited to try tea time. Kringle impressed me with herbal tea last spring. I love that candle and ran through 3 tall 2 wick tumblers.
Herbal tea was WONDERFUL!!!! Tea Time is equally as lovely.
Can you pull some strings and get Kringle to pour four wicks in a Homeworx-style jar?? We need this in our lives SOOO bad, lol. If they did that style jar they could have all my money. Hahaha

Thanks, great overview. I ordered a few of the new Country Candle and large 2 wick tumblers. Can’t wait to receive them. In the meantime, I am obsessed with so many of the Reserve scents. All strong. Burning Sinful now and it’s so good.

Mine are on their way! I can’t wait for them to arrive. However, I’m going to attempt a month long “no buy” so I can really enjoy all of these candles I have in my collection.

🙋🏼♀️I have thoughts on that: Tea Time is distinctly black chai with orange. Herbal Tea is more vegetal with a jasmine note (reminds me of jasmine white tea). Try the Daylight of Tea Time- you may really enjoy it! ☘️

Tea Time is the standout in the 6 Daylights I received. It’s a distinct black chai with orange. If you like tea with spices, you may really enjoy it! 🫖
Thanks for sharing....I keep bouncing around with placing an order....It is harder to narrow my list down now that the Country line is in soy..SO many good choices once again....We had 12 inches of snow the other day and now another 3-5 inches expected tonight...I am ready for some warmer weather about now.
The GREAT news about these scents is they are "permanent" for spring and summer. These will be in rotation for a while so you don't have to rush. Good luck with your snow! We should be done with all of it after today. It is nearly all melted.

We are going through the same thing up here in the greater Seattle area! Thankfully you got the big snow last week as it moved south of us but we’ve had snow almost everyday the last few days as I live north of Seattle in the convergence zone ugh 😩 no way can I burn spring florals right now as everything is frozen 🥶🥶 I think I actually like the scents on the new soy country line this year better than these although the saltwater taffy one sounds yummy! Will be excited to see what you think of those!
I honestly am probably even more excited about the Country line this season than the traditional jars because of the scents and the wax change. Oh yes, this weather has been tough. We froze up again last night but it looks like we are warming up in the coming days. I know Seattle pretty much shuts down just like Portland does lol.
I’m not a fan of BR540 for personal fragrance, but I think I would enjoy it in a candle. I’m excited to get my nose on all of these, especially Tea Time, Avocado & Palm, and Salt Water Taffy!
If you get it, let me know your thoughts. Does the 540 not agree with your body chemistry? I have a few friends who love it on me but hate it on themselves. So interesting!
@@MrKongsMom I just haven’t liked any fragrances that have that ozonic quality to them. They make me feel sick if I wear them all day, and since BR540 is so strong and long lasting, I can’t tolerate it.
We got a big snow storm last night and all day today. They delayed school start time an hour to give the kids more time to get to school in it lol. My sons were pissed they still has school. Living 5-10 minutes from the coast my whole life, I love sea breeze type candles. That's summer to me.
Oh yes! I still have an OG sea breeze from HomeWorx in the 3 wick. I think this might be the July where I finally pull her out and light her up!
@@MrKongsMom I have a few of the 4 wicks for this summer. Love that scent. The 3 wick probably will be a powerhouse by now. I remember it being a strong one back when it was first released in the 3 wick.
They all sound amazing! But holding out a bit need to burn some stash down!

People say BBW In the Stars is not a dupe but is similar to Baccarat 540. Have you ever burn the In the Stars candle to compare with Kringle’s Mon Amour?
I have never tried In the Stars in either body care or candle format from BBW. I LOVE Into the Night but that's a dupe for their own Dark Kiss scent. I am not seeing In the Stars candle right now otherwise I would probably totally try it out!
@@MrKongsMom Looks like they only release In the Stars for candle day. I got one in 2021 but never got around to burning it. Signs of having too many candles. I think I'll take the chance on Mon Amour. I also love BR540.
Hi Melanie! Is the Mon Amour candle similar to starburst sky that just came out in the Scentsy Valentine’s Day collection? Everyone kept saying starburst sky was a dupe for the Baccarat perfume but I don’t know what that perfume smells like but I absolutely loved starburst sky! I put it in my club I loved it so much. If the Mon Amour candle smells like that bar I’ll for sure want to order one 💗
I only had starburst sky in the pods and I am honestly trying to remember if it did smell like the perfume. I remember liking the scent but it did not personally cause me to think about the perfume. Now this candle, YES. For sure!

Melanie, going forward will all the country candles be soy, or just the spring collection? Believe it or not I have better performance and scent wise I prefer the paraffin.
Going forward ALL Country scents will be soy. The paraffin is going away for good. I am not sure if he will bring it back for limited editions potentially. There may be a chance for that but I think this simplified things for production so it's a good change for them.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this isn't what I wanted to hear. I may be in the minority, however, the soy formulations are what I smell in those made with them. All have a waxy smell that overtakes as they are lit. I never had an issue with old Yankee and the country line of Kringle. No issues. Eliminating the paraffin completely seems too extreme to me. Unfortunately I cant help but think what their decisions are really based on. I think we all know the answer. With all due respect, I am very saddened with this decision.
I think the company understands that this will be a disappointment for some but I think it boiled down to sales mostly. They sell far more soy and it seemed to make sense production wise to make the change. Mick did say that they would be selling through the remaining soy for a bit of time and at some point there might be a big sale to stock up. I do believe that Crossroads and McCalls still offer paraffin.
