I'm a mom of 4 boys, no girls. I started buying a new tiara on every trip and giving it to a little girl with the permission of the adults with her, of course. Calling her a princess for the day. It fills my heart with so much joy to see her smile with just a random act of kindness. I'd be considered creepy outside of Disneyland. In my mind, she'll remember this moment sometime in the future and maybe pass along her own kindness to a stranger in her life.

Something not normal for me: Last trip I went, on my last day (after midnight), I cried from the time I got off of Peter Pan ride, all the way down main street, out the gates and didn't stop the tears until I was passed security. I'm 57 and never cry.

I wear a Disney outfit and Disney crocs (I have several) to my dialysis 3 times a week. It makes me happy and it makes the other patients/nurses happy as well. Living my Disney life outside the park. If someone says I’m weird, I say “thank you!” To me that’s a compliment. Btw, I’m in my 60s and love Disneyland.

Funny story. Live in San Diego far enough away, no one is thinking Disney. Get home late one night after a day at the park. Stop at store to get dog food. Strange looks from peeps in store. Get out to the car, realize, this 50 yr old princess still had on her sparkly rhinestone tiara. My neighbors must have thought I had lost it. Lol

Maybe if we did this every day, the world would be just a little bit brighter and sillier!!! THIS video did NOT disappoint. I am laughing so hard at my desk. Yes to ALL THE FOOD!! Core memories for me, screaming at Tiana from the shore while she is on the Riverboat and having her wave back and walking around and chatting with Red about things to trade as a pirate. Oh, and Winnie the Pooh hugging me from behind without me seeing him and then bringing me a jam packet. Characters just hit different.

Dancing and singing while walking through the park
    Meeting the Disney Characters
    Shopping for Disney Merchandise
Standing in one area of Disneyland for the whole time
These are the things that I do that might sound weird in the real world but not at Disneyland. When I step into the park, there is this momentous beat that hits me to let it all out. I can share one moment when I was in line to meet Joy and Sadness and one of the cast members said to me "You are quite happy today" and I smiled and hugged myself. It was one of my favorite Disney moments that I continue to relive to this day. Another memory I can share was when I was a kid fighting brain cancer, I met Cinderella and during my interaction with her, she gave me a kiss. I blushed and got a bit terrified as I was trying to get the kiss mark off with my jacket. Thanks as always for the video Chris!!

We were in Disneyland in may this year.
Apart from the fact that people were eating and eating non-stop all the time, strollers were filled with popcorn and drink and food... apart from all that, I was amazed how parents had children pushing in their strollers until midnight.
But then again, we're Dutch, so perhaps this is all not so weird in the USA

My husband was forced to wear matching shirts as a kid, so no matching clothing for us (and the rest of us are fine with that).
Ditto on my family eating outside of Disneyland as a kid (we were there for the rides and not the food), but now there are plenty of snacks, at least one meal, rides, shows, and characters.
Back when my daughter was super young we would love to do character meet and greets with the Chick-fil-a cow and Geoffrey the giraffe at Toys R’ Us stores. It was a great way for my daughter to get used to interacting with costumed characters, so that she still enjoys doing meet and greets today.

I like meeting characters also, though -- as I've mentioned before -- I'm reserved, but they deal with me well. I'm well aware that in general entertainers like the more animated people, because they're fun and easy to interact with. Because of that, I always have a sense of self-consciousness, but I take the risk of facing an awkward situation anyway. I'm not ashamed of it, and in the end, there's always at least one character that confirms the productivity of my efforts, whether it's from laughing or getting reminded of the beautiful gifts and abilities I obtain.

    Chris,
Try to imagine my little sister and brother when they were 8 years old and 6 years old getting into a fight with the big bad wolf. I was shocked when that happened. I tried to break it up and the wolf hit me. Security came running out of nowhere and asked me if I wanted to have the person in the wolf costume to be kicked out, but they were going to fire him, but I said no. I told security that the kids started it and I tried to stop them. Later that day I went off on my own and I ran into the big bad wolf and he saw me. He thanked me for not getting him fired. I still had a great time at Disneyland and that was back in 1987 a week before Christmas. That time I spent $500 on food and souvenirs.
By the way Chris I like the mustache.
