This is basically just one big advert for editorX lmao
We are partners with them :)
1:29 For people looking into web development, it's better to do a "font-size: 162%" or try to use relative units (rem/em). If you use pixel units, you will overwrite the default font-size of someone's browser (for example, ppl with bad eyesight could have their default font-size set to extra large). Using px is a great way to learn the basics, but always be carefull. Also: great tutorial, love the tips and tricks!
Good tips 👍👍
Your content is criminally underrated! Thank you very much
I appreciate that!
Wow! Your top comment on here already says it, but this is such a hidden gem. This is by far the best tips video for design I have seen. So practical and to the point. The video editing alone is perfect and really highlights the design principals discussed.
Absolutely fantastic job.
Cheers! thanks for watching!
Hi, I'm Hannah, a website developer and manager, I view the world through the lens of a problem solver and troubleshooter. It's my job to make sure that websites are up and running smoothly, and to quickly address any issues that come up. I have to be both technical and creative, as I work with the website code, while also considering the overall user experience and aesthetic. It's my responsibility to keep the website running like a well-oiled machine, so that users have a positive and seamless experience.
Genuinely thank you for this🙏 I have to create a website for my own business because I cant afford to outsource it, and your page has helped level up my designs so much!
So great! You've got this :)
great video bro, i am going over it a second time and taking notes. you have a fun playful personality too which translates and makes the video much more entertaining to watch
Thanks I really appreciate that!
LOVE THIS VIDEO! As one said below... the practicality of it, down to earthiness ;-), and video editing -- just a total overall PLEASANT / WONDERFUL view. Been getting into Wix Studio (Editor-X's cousin so to speak) and have run into a few of your videos. That said, this one made me hit the SUBSCRIBE button. I'll look into the COMMUNITY thing as time permits. Anyway thanks for sharing your gifts.
Thank you!
Thank you, this was very helpful!

Welcome aboard!
Was such a great video! Thank you
Thank you :)
Just an additional tip, don't use pure black and pure white, unless you are working with oled theme it's better to use a slightly different color then #000 and #fff
Great tip!
Great video! Also, you're quite funny. Chuckled multiple times. 😂
Glad you enjoyed!
thankyou man you clear my mind today on website designing
Great to hear!
Nice editor X publicity, but i was looking for actual tips for manual web design.
Sure, I made sure to weave the platform into the tips, but they were legitimate design tips regardless. Also, we gotta learn the modern tools as professionals. Cheers
Awesome tips Brad !
Glad you like them!
Awesome video and guide for us aspiring to become web devs.. please make more!

You should’ve put editor X in the title. I thought it would have more general tips. It did give some applicable to all tips which I liked but I didn’t click the video for Editor X. Just be transparent.
Hey -- sorry to hear you feel that way. We are completely transparent on this channel in every video, description, even the about section on the channel clearly communicates our partnership with Editor X (now Wix Studio). Thanks for your thoughts and for watching!

Thank you! Your videos are always great. Also, for recognizing that following English convention, it's GIF not "JIF"...
🙌🙌🙌
Thank you !🤩
You’re welcome 😊
Very important idea
Glad you think so!
Great video! But what's that pink/purple side bar?
Thanks! Haha, oh that is actually the back of my iMac, illuminated by a pink LED light.
Congratulations you just helped a kid!
Cool 👍
This video was helpful but I got a question, when it comes to images what is the most practical way to insert images in my website?
I'm using jsp on Netbeans to design a website for my uncle's job and I'm a bit confused on what is the best approach to insert images, is it just a simple tags or do I have to code something in css or javascript?
Yep, tags are usually best for images, unless it's for aesthetic, then you might use CSS to make it a background image.
@@CreativeCrewCommunity Thanks, but I managed to figure things out myself and deliver the site, thanks again.

Great design video but I wish it were a little more programmer friendly and less drag and drop oriented
Thanks for the feedback! Just to let you know, our channel is geared towards showcasing what can be done without code. But we appreciate your thoughts and will keep them in mind for future content.
I am looking for someone to help me design a fun freeze dried candy website.
Cool! Where have you tried to find a designer?

Not sure! Thx for watching though!
r you frankie lapenna's brother
Haha! Nope. Heard that one before though.
Images should be...webp?
They could be if you want :)
@@CreativeCrewCommunity someone just told me that webp is what I should use because they are more light weight then jpg and png. I didn't know about them.
@@Microsization JPG and PNG are totally acceptable and standard image formats for the web, but you can also export your images as webp if you wish to try it out!
Frank lapenna?
Haha nope. Brad Hussey :)

Green isn’t a primary colour …
True and false.
Green is a primary color in digital media using additive mixing (RGB), but not in traditional art using subtractive mixing (RYB).
Lol😂❤
Cheers!
I pick anti design
To each their own :)

Images should not be jpegs!!!! They should be avif or webp with mozjpeg as fallback.
Eventually that'll be the case.
ρɾσɱσʂɱ 🤷
🤷♂️
who ever did the subtitling on this video needs to be fired. hope it was just AI
Haha! Yeah it was AI
gpt 3 probably. It was fired and replaced by gpt 4
I like how CZcams CC automated to "WSJ" when you were referencing design sites/sample sites. Amazing
Cool -- CZcams auto CC is a pretty fascinating thing!
