Hello Dr Taimur, I hope you doing good. I 'm a final year economics student at IBA Karachi. I am working on my final year research project on economic growth and income inequality in less developed countries. I know much of the work is already done in this area but was seeking for a new narrative in the study. I think your video did help me in adding a new narrative of Marxist ideology in the study. It would be grateful of you if you could highlight some key sources of qualitative data on Marxist narrative.

what do you think of marx's understanding of role of the state in communism ? There are enough historical events that are in contradiction with his expectation in the aforementioned given context
Sir please make a lecture video on limitarianism, either it's related to capitalism or communism cause it discuss the wealth of individual and putting a kind of limit on it, perhaps you would understand it better and enlighten us about this concept.

I have a question regarding this and it might be a bit of a silly one but can you explain that if the rate of profit is declining then how is wealth inequality increasing exponentially? I might be missing something so please clue me in.

Dear Sir please enlighten us: if I wash clothes and have 100 workers who wash the clothes. Now, I bought a washing machine. Now all the clothes are washed by the washing machine and I only keep 5 workers. If I charge 100 rupees for washing each piece of clothing and pay the workers 1000 rupees in wages at the end of the day, now with the washing machine, I still charge 100 rupees per piece of clothing, but I only have 5 workers, so I only pay 5000 rupees to the workers at the end of the day. So this benefits me and my profit increases because earlier I had to pay 100,000 rupees and now I only have to pay 5000 rupees. So how does this justify Karl Marx's theory?

Even with zero profit and zero rate of growth in profit, capitalism can survive by state patronage and the so-called primitive accumulation of capital even in its so-called advanced stage! But for how long!
Criticism of any system should be welcomed and used to improve the system. Otherwise, the mainstream will become unquestionable dogma and stray from the middle path.

I was curious to know about your view on quality/reliability of Urdu translation of Marx's Capital though Progress Publishers in India and Mir Publishers in Moscow are fine.
I say this because even Engels edited in German itself Marx's concept of "small commodity" production as "simple commodity" production which is meaningless. Mistakes happen and are common in any translation of the original.9

Predictions ? Really . Was he a clairvoyant or a sooth sayer or perhaps an astrologer. He would be embarrassed by your belief and worship of him.
Rate of profit of what? this is a bit disingenuous I’m sorry. Marx came up with general principles and charted trends yes, but does that make all his theories correct? no. Command economy had 75years to prove itself in the USSR but it failed to compete against the capitalist system. Democracy +Capitalism is chaotic but self regulating . The USsr interpretation and every interpretation of marxism has failed to deliver simply because it’s not a scientific system, it cannot be reproduced reliably it’s just whatever people interpret it to be that makes it closer to dogma than to science.
