I've been looking at a pink gold Lange 1 and a Lange 1 Moonphase to join my WG 1815 Up Down. Love the look of the moon phase sundial, but the fumes on the main dial and the hands just put me off for some reason. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the pink gold L1 this week. I just bought the Lange 1 moon phase 192.032 before the price increase. I was debating between moon phase or without. In person the blue of the day night indicator just pops and is so beautiful. Both are amazing watches though.

The only sport watch outside of VC, Lange and Patek that actually wear is the Daytona. Steel and sport watches are great however not sure if I am getting older or what but somehow appreciating classic watches, precious metals specifically over steel. 1815 fly back chrono in black day on pink gold is really nice, thickness of 11mm is also doable. I am yet to see one in person.

A Lange is one of my holy trinity of watches. I'm not a fan of watch designs with the main time indicator reduced to a subdial, which basically means the actual dial of time telling is small to make way for other subdials. I'm a fan of the ALS Odysseus where all the indicators have symmetrical design.
lange 1 with guilloche dial - like the gold or silver ones, or navy blue, from the past - but primarily like 1815 up/down for the balance of look and function.
Gotta love the Lange 1! I have one in yellow gold (without moon phase) since 2018 and it just doesn’t get old… I wear it numerous times each week. Great video, mate!

I went to the Lange boutique in NYC, which is the N. American flagship. I was shocked at how little they had in stock. They had a few watches, but when I asked about specific models (like a 1815 chronograph), they didn't have it. The sales rep said they hope to normalize their supply by yearend. If you order something, expect 8-10 month wait.

I visited the harrods A LANG & SOHNE dealership, put my name down on the pink gold datograph , said I’m on the waiting list to join the waiting list 😳, the platinum watch I could of joined the official waiting list straight away , they want a 30% deposit and the watch is usually made within nine months of that deposit be made I’m still having sleepless nights whether to go for the platinum or the pink gold I put my name down on the pink gold she said it was a more popular one so maybe I should change my mind and go for the platinum as it’s rarer . I've always loved the 1815 Moonphase, but perhaps a Lange1 Moonphase would be the correct move. But, given my current lifestyle, and economics, I'm not sure either would happen. Which, is okay. I enjoy going to the Art Institute here in Chicago, and make no delusions that I will own a Joan Miro original. Nice purchase, and I'm about to make a dive on your videos.

I visited the harrods A LANG & SOHNE dealership, put my name down on the pink gold datograph , said I’m on the waiting list to join the waiting list 😳, the platinum watch I could of joined the official waiting list straight away , they want a 30% deposit and the watch is usually made within nine months of that deposit be made I’m still having sleepless nights whether to go for the platinum or the pink gold I put my name down on the pink gold she said it was a more popular one so maybe I should change my mind and go for the platinum as it’s rarer . What’s your thoughts 💭
Platinum wherever and whenever possible. The finish is magnificent and the watch ‘wears’ perfectly with just that be little extra weight! 🙂👌

I've always loved the 1815 Moonphase, but perhaps a Lange1 Moonphase would be the correct move. But, given my current lifestyle, and economics, I'm not sure either would happen. Which, is okay. I enjoy going to the Art Institute here in Chicago, and make no delusions that I will own a Joan Miro original.
