Andy sells himself short - It wasn't Braille that helped sell his board (they provided the viewers). His passion for all forms of skating and his different style and attitude is what sells his boards.
And a ton of lil kids seeing his shape and graphic in the video

Andy Anderson is my current favorite pro skateboarder. I love how humble he is and he is so talented but really approachable and down to earth. Would love to meet him. He is really underrated and he deserves to be in the next Tony hawk pro skater and skate game.
If he gets into Skate 4 along with his sig deck, I'm never doing anything but playing Andy on free play lol

First time I ever saw Andy was like 2 years ago on braille when the vid came out
I’m a bmxer who skates and I found Andy through Braille, I started watching them when I was working in advertising and I loved the you make it we skate it. Braille gets some sick people involved and aren’t scared to push boundaries with other sports
I have to confirm that, I'm a 31 Y/O from Colombia, and I want his board. The first time I saw andy was with Brett Novak, then Braille... and then everywhere!

TBH these guys give me bad vibes. Braille and Andy are encouraging supportive and accepting. These guys are old school and judgmental... pretty much those kids at the skatepark you were scared to practice ollies around.
I've skated on a few tennis courts in my day, & they really are great to skate on.

Hey nineclub. THanks to Braille im also here. Came by accident on braille, dont know how ytb algorythmn got me there but ...2y ago i started again with skateboarding and well..im 33y old now and since a year or even longer i also follow u guys...
I raised up with arto saari and bastian salabanzi being my idols... going to dortmund to the westfalia gym to see the monster mastership...
Braille and Nineclub are my favorite channels.

I was in LA for a work trip and decided to head down to Venice skatepark to relive my youth. I ended seeing Andy there and said hi/introduced myself. And told him that I love his deck for cruising and motivating me to getting back on the board.
From his initial reaction, I don't think he expected to be approached and praised by someone from the corporate world in slacks/white button down and a vest praising his video content and signature board. lol.
Definitely need Nigel on the nine club.
And Aaron Kyro… he’s from a totally different side of skateboarding and I’d love to see them talk

I'm a bay area resident/former Oakland resident and for some reason thought they were in Fremont this whole time.
Older skaters love Andy's board because it's more like the big old boards from the pre-popsicle days. I've got a 8.5 popsicle board, and it still feels too small - too short wheelbase particularly. Plus the shape is just cool. Everything else looks the same these days. Even his graphics are a nod to old school Powell designs.
Yeah! He got the same legendary artist his graphic! It's like if a progressive rock band got Roger Dean or Storm Thorgerson to design their album cover. (Yes, Pink Floyd)
Andy has such a cool skate style. So stoked for his success.

This man gives me hope..I'm 33 skating again..makes me think I can still have fun..I appreciate his candor, especially bc he made it his way...and yeah braille was a smart move, they're not a clique' y as the rest of skateboarding..dressing up and shit...they just skate and support people, what's wrong with that..theres a lot of people from outside states that could be pro skaters from the bay area...pretty sure Andy's doing some youtube shit too, which is smart, at least hell get the recognition he deserves..awesome person. I'm a 90s kid and I would love to try andys board. His designs and his engineering are on point. Him and Christopher hiett make me want to try old school boards and I've always sworn by the traditional popsicle shape with mid or higher concave. Dgk is my common go to.
Love watching both Andy and Chris, I skated late 80's early 90's and love that board shape, I never felt comfortable on a popsicle,

Everything he says is exactly how I found Andy. I saw the Nigel vids then the Braille ones then I went down a rabbit hole and watched everything. Also, I’m Canadian and 52 and don’t skate. So that’s both of your demographics too.

I believe it's because of the setup of the mic and at the same time for the camera as well. So when he speaks the camera automatically switches to him. Makes much more easier to edit these videos out coz no need to review all the footage of all cameras then edit it one by one

Why do skate shops need freestyle boards? Like he said there’s companies out there making them, and I bet they’re not flooded by demand. I live in a city of 5 million people and have never seen a freestyle skater in my 30 years of skating.

the way nigel always surrounds himself with little kids makes me wary of him. maybe hes just a good guy, but if he actually is a good person I think he'd understand my suspicion.
By that logic, all school teachers should be suspect. I'm not saying some people don't need keeping an eye on but it's sad that it seems to be the default opinion.
@@daelra well school teachers get background checks and they are usually not completely alone with 1 or 2 students, it also takes alot more effort and determination to become a teacher if your end goal is just to harm children.
