  • The Joint Research Centre has played a fundamental role as a European nuclear research body, since the start of the Euratom Research and Training Programme.
Today, after more than 60 years, as we witness a resurgence of interest in Nuclear Energy, both within the EU and beyond, we need to continue this legacy of knowledge and competence.
The JRC stands ready, equipped with the necessary infrastructure and tools, to navigate the opportunities presented by current and innovative nuclear technologies. We will continue our mission to guide the EU towards a safer and more sustainable future.
