    I love how human beings are so similar, like I hear every story and every story is the same , the same concerns, the same worries, the same thoughts and anxiety. We all are same.

    I need hope. Found the program and bought it a year and a half ago. I slept ok (5-6) most nights but still sleepless nights every month. Cant sleep with anyone either. Now im back in a speedbump as bad as wheb it started. Are there any recovery stories like this? Its disheartwning hearing about people getting back to normal within months to a year qhile im still struggling 2 years later.

      Hang in there Jamie, and yes, what you share here sounds very familiar, nothing strange or unusual on the path of leaving struggle. There’s a story with Leighton, Talking insomnia 87 that I think really can illustrate how even with understanding and a readiness for the journey, it can take time. He was also a guest in talking insomnia 47. Let us know how things go, rooting much for you

      @thesleepcoachschool8192 I think I have committed on another video before. I struggle with the fear of not getting sleep and also the fear of sleep itself. I'm struggling right now. My body wakes me up once I drift off I feel very confused and disoriented. I have struggled with sleep since I was a child. I have had stretches were I have been awake for 7 or 8 days just from pure panic of sleeping. It feels tormenting. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

    The teachings changed everything for me in time. The only way you learn is being in it, practicing what you've learned, building up trust, and giving up the control you think you have. I recommend your channel, books, and what I've learned from you to everyone struggling. Thanks for another great episode. I'd be happy to do a show with you one day. ❤

    Hi daniel, What should I do when I am in bed and it's been half an hours I am not able to sleep?

    • @thesleepcoachschool8192
      @thesleepcoachschool8192  Před 23 dny +1

      Hi Prakash, I often talk about these three steps:
      1. See the invite to not know the time, this way you don’t know it’s been half an hour. Fuzziness is really helpful.
      2. Accept reality. Many try to force themselves to sleep which keeps them awake.
      3. Befriend wakefulness. See what can turn the fact that you’re awake into something enjoyable, maybe have a really interesting book or podcast prepared.
      Hope this will help 😊

      Thank you daniel,
      1. I saw the video where you wore in a conversation with Sasha Stephen.
      Now I feel should I just let go and move on from insomonia start living my life and just forget that it ever existed ?
      2. I realised I don't think about sleep the whole day but when at night then I feel I confused or anxious or I worry What if I can't sleep.I feel the confuse about what is happening why am I not able to sleep.
      3. I take naps usually during the day I am not anxious nor am I worried and I sleep peacefully but at night to fall asleep i find it difficulties .
      I would be very grateful if you can throw some light on these questions .😊

    Hi Daniel, I have a bit of a bizarre use case and wanted to see you had any general ideas/feedback. For whatever reason, my brain/body wakes up an hour earlier every Friday morning. It only allows me 5.5/6 hours. Every single week, it’s like clockwork.
    It’s been going on for years. I struggle with maintenance insomnia here and there a couple times a week different days, but Friday morning it’s the same exact result no matter what I try. Thursday day and night is the same exact routine btw (meals, workouts, etc.) as other days of the week.
    No matter how much NATTO I embed, it’s the same auto-pilot result and it’s just extremely confusing to me.

    • @skipperne
      @skipperne Před 20 dny

      Subconscious maybe? Ask yourself why is that day important (remembered). I used to wake up at specific time few years ago - same time when my dad passed away. When I realized that it stopped. For some reason Friday morning is something meaningful to you
