Jdp_ 1597 Did you watch the Heat at all the last two seasons? He averaged 17 ppg and 14 rpg last season. This season he's been in and out with injuries. And Spoelstra phased him out of the offense for no reason, because they wanted to shoot more threes. Which is fuckin stupid cuz the only shooter on the team is Wayne Ellington. Everybody else is slightly above average, average, or below average

He couldn't show up even if he acts like an adult, it's a different era now, this centre position is going thru some rapid changing every year, just one year ago, a defense centre like Whiteside doesn't need to defense switch that well, it helps but not completely necessary, but right now if you can't defend a guard you are out of the court, the defensive centres who still plays well are the ones have fast feet and top endurance, like Clint Capela or Steven Adams, even Rudy Gobert can't stay on the court against certain teams. Cav's starting centre is Kevin Love, Dubs' starting centre is Kevin Durant, Raptors' starting centre is Kevin Hart.

The Heat missed Dion last season before he went out for season according to clutch stats he was a top 5 closer shooting 66% from the field and 50% from 3pt range wonder how many games they would have won if he was healthy.
Would have definitely helped in the 76ers series. Heat led or were tied at the half every single game. Though with Dion while he can create offense he can also stagnate the overall offense. He needs to commit more to playing in the system while still using his skills
He's not Whiteside he's bought into Spoelstra system and he couldn't make the offense more stagnant than they already were he's literally the only scorer on the team and the only guy you can count on showing up in the 2nd half of the game.
