This whole album is great!! No fillers.
The backing vocalist Marcela Bovio was a member of another band, which was called Stream of Passion and was created as another project by the guy behind Ayreon and The Gentle Storm - Arjen Lucassen. You can try this: Stream Of Passion - Delirio - Memento (2016) for a bit of violin-playing; OR Stream Of Passion - Broken - Memento (2016) for some crazy transitions
Of course, there is MaYaN in which she does female vocals with Laura Macri, but I would probably start with "The Power Process", which is not as crazy as "Saints Don´t Die" to start with, in my opinion.
Marcela is and old friend of mine....we are from Monterrey México!! shes sings very young in metal goths bands from here...the most popular: Elfonia :)
I had no prior knowledge, but I guessed it was her in the first couple of minutes, Stream of Passion were a great band, and Marcello seems lovely on fan pages/social media

I didn't realise before now that "The Gentle Storm" is basically VUUR with extra members or the Ayreon band with a few less members.
A more rocking performance of Anneke is her new band call Vuur. Masters of Rock 2017 Vuur "Days Go By" She is a wonderful singer for sure with a ton of range
Great reaction again! This is another great project from Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Did you know the drummer, bass player, keyboardplayer Marcella Bovio and of course Anneke are also on stage at the Ayreon Universe show and the 20th anniversary of Into The Electric Castle show?

Guys, you should also check The Gathering (with Anneke) - Live at Doornroosje - "On Most Surfaces" and "In Motion". These are great songs. Nice reaction.

The gentle storm.....mastermind Arjen Lucassen does it again. All the members of this group are on an unimaginable level. It's the holy grail ( together with nightwish. They share that number one podium). And Anneke together with Marcela.....heaven on earth. I saw them perform last weekend with Ayreon live in Tilburg. I saw so many angels en heavenly music I thought I had died without noticing it ... If you ever want to make a musical pelgrimage, go to Ayreon. And combine that with Nightwish....that would be the godfather of epic journeys.....

I love Anneke I had the chance to see & meet in Paris once when touring with THE SIRENS with the also awesome Liv Kristine (ex-Theatre of Tragedy, Leaves Eyes) & Kari Rueslatten (ex-The 3rd and The Mortal, etc...) 3 amazing singers...You def. need to check more THE GATHERING stuff when Anneke was in...Also forgot last time to point out that sometimes in my youtube channel (& before in my website on dedicated Playlist/music pages) I cover Metal albums like this one, just to let you know...Metal Greetings from Paris, France ! 😉🤘

You have to check out Marcela Bovio's body of work, she really is the most versatile artist I've ever heard. I follow her on patreon so I've been lucky enough to hear her upcoming project White Horse Dark Horse and it is heavy as fuck so when it gets released to the wider public you guys should check it out!!!
Haha Marcela Bovio can sing as good or better than any front woman and is lead in a bunch of stuff others will rant off no doubt.
Don't know you've seen it but there is a female guitarist. You've seen here before in Delain. I'm a judge fan of here and she has her own project's. Just google Merel Bechtold...
