This is entertainment, the whole movie industry. In a lot of contracts there is also info of how you react on red carpet,who you can meet, and how you can behave in some circumstances. I wouldn't be suprised if there was some info like that in Jason and Dwayne contracts - and they both agree to play that role, outside of the movie. It is actually being done quite often.
But at the end: both of them are quite nice guys in reality, so there is no way for them to behave like that to each other. From the psychological point of view, and also looking back at their private life history (outside of movies) - yeah, I can actually bet that those guys like each other.
But at the end, if there was anything there - Im also betting on:
- the contracts (and they were both aware of it and agree to it - but that is higly unlikely, as it doesn't happens in every case in LA),
- or just... a simple gossip from the movie crew (if any), some jurnalist hoping to get his/her name out, some newspaper stirring the pot so to speak... and so on. Momoa had me when he appeared in Stagate Atlantis. I was a huge fan or his character and was shocked when he seemed to fall of the planet for a bit after the show. I thought he'd be huge right away but it took a bit.
If I had to pick a side and say who I think is the more down to earth normal guy of the two and less likely to cause drama...hands down Momoa. The Rock always seemed like he had a big head, even back in his purely wrestling days. And I never bought his goody two shoes routine.

I don’t like how Dante’s character acts cos hes just over the top. I liked his serious moments in the film like when he said “how do you choose the ones that you save” things like that were cool. He was too loud and had more of a spoilt rich kid gone baddy like the fast 9 villain who was a spoilt rich kid wanting more power. I love Dante’s notice how they’ve decided to go back to the past and have him as a massive villain but his personality takes me out of it and feel disbelief.

Sure but I don't believe for one minute that there was this major falling out and this major feud going on - ESPECIALLY now that Dwayne is coming back to the franchise. FF has always exchanged characters and brought them in and bring them out in these movies. I don't believe the "clickbait" that Film United danced around the whole 11 mins about Dwayne and Jason Momoa and all of this is created to give more "context" to movies that have become lackluster and totally unbelievable in any scope of reality. Yes, it's entertainment and yes the goal is to put azzes in seats and eyeballs to the screen. It's a business.
