YES but we probably won't see that happening for a while (it's taking forever for the conservatorship to end)
I love that idea but I think that would be difficult because stories like these often need a fair amount of time and perspective to be able to do them justice
The next season is going to be about Studio 54.
I guess Watergate could be a good series but All the President's Men already did justice to that
I don’t really see any physical resemblance between the cast and the real protagonists but the cast is 👌🏻.I got chills with Clive Owen’s voice mimicking Bill Clinton’s.👏🏻💗
The lack of similarity disappointed me already. No one looks like the actual people.

Rather interesting choice to have Edie Falco as Hilary Clinton. Brilliant actress but I just don’t see it. Guess I’ll wait for the show to prove me either right or wrong. Also, love the fact Monica herself is a producer.

@@zeroomens9438 what are you, butt-hurt that I have an opinion? I could 100% be absolutely proven wrong and have those casting directors and the whole crew blow me away with selecting her for the role. Like I said, I will have to wait and see as this is just a trailer.
Yeah i was surprised by that too.. in fact to me she would fit playing Linda Tripp more with Sarah Paulson playing Hillary (though i’m obviously intrigued to see Paulson’s transformation into Tripp and think she looks great in the small bit we see here). All that said, im sure both are great in their given roles here.

1. People callinger her "power-hungry"- Clearly we still do not understand how workplace harassment works and what "taking advantage of your position and power" means. Young intern spending so much of unchecked time in close proximity with a man 30 years older to her, the president, the most powerful man on earth AND by then a well-known womanizer/harasser. She was 21 years old, naiive and wasn't aware of the potential repercussions of the whole thing. She never went public about her affair...if anything she always tried her best to stay away from the limelight. She was the one who was taken advantage of and betrayed and shamed.
2. People calling Monica a "home wrecker"- FYI, people IN the marriage wreck their own marriages, not third parties. How do we know Bill and Hilary's marriage was not already over before Monica even came into the picture? Bill told Monica, his marriage was an open marriage. Its sad that the world convinced her to apologise to Hilary...Monica did not need to apologise to ANYONE.
3. People saying- "Why is she speaking now"- Monica Lewinsky was made to sign contracts to not share her side of the story for a decade which was basically Clinton's abuse of power, denied jobs in her field everywhere in USA...shamed for her entire life, bullied, harassed, trashed. SHE LITERALLY NEVER GOT MARRIED, SHE WAS LEFT SO PERMANENTLY IN PAIN. Eventually she moved to London and studied social psychology at LSE to understand what happened to her..she tried to share her story now to help others who have been victim of shaming and bullying survive the pain.

I think this is one of the best mini series ever produced. Ryan Murphy and Sarah Paulson are amazing. This could have been a season of American horror story.

The OJ Simpson season was a master piece. There's so many American Crime stories to choose from but after that they've just been picking the most boring ones.

They can pick up Watergate, Jimmy Hoffa, Kennedys and their alleged ties with the mob to name a few.
Let this be a valuable lesson to any American candidate for political office. State governor or president. And here’s my suggestion. I suggest that if you plan on running for political office like president or state governor. You better have a clear record and a clear moral conscience. Because if you don’t, you might not be qualified for the job.

Awesome cast, but I'm eager to see Edie Falco's performance as Hillary. I mean Oz, The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie, The Menendez Murders. She's a powerhouse! Hope she has a lot of scenes and not just a background character. Great actress!

The casting is not great, but maybe they are great in the show, so I guess I just have to wait and see
I hate to be that person but Monica Lewinsky was much prettier than that back then. She may have been bigger in a world where fat shaming was a big thing back in the 90’s and early 2000’s but she was extremely pretty.
