Sachse, Crowley, San Angelo, Waxahachie, and Brazoria were all named after Texas towns for their premier by Sencut at the Texas Blade show March 2022. A way to pay tribute to Texas by honoring the state with models named after locations in the state.

The reason Civivi says that titanium milled clip will only fit certain models is Civivi has two different buying options for the clip.
It's not that the whole spacing on the clip, it's the length of the screws provided for the clip👍.
Option one (T001A) is the titanium milled clip and 2 titanium screws include (like the one I saw on Amazon).
That option only fits like 4 or 5 knives because of the length of the screw supplied with the clip.
The second option (T001C) the titanium milled clip ( like on their website) it comes with three different sets (various lengths) of titanium screws (6 total), this offering fits most of their knives with that clip hole spacing.
Basically if you order the option off Amazon with only set 2 screws, and try to put it on a Civivi Praxis the titanium screws will not set into the metal liners, they're not long enough to work.
You could always use the original screws to your Civivi Praxis clip.
However many machinist would not recommend steel fasteners touching titanium. Supposedly there could be some kind of adverse reaction, however in my experience I haven't found this to be true yet.
You are right the whole spacing is the same as the elementum/ badlands etc.
For whatever reason on Amazon I only see the (T100A) listed and not the (T100C) listing.
Also both versions cost the same amount of money on the Civivi website, go figure lol.

    • @flipflat4814

@@pete6705 I would👍. I'm not exactly sure how long of screws are needed for the pocket clip on the sencut sachse but I'm pretty confidentt the T100C titanium milled pocket clip will work for you.👍.
Also you will have two leftover sets of titanium pocket clip screws to have on standby for future mods also.

Nice knife as a beater, it's on my list with the Watauga. Stassa here on YT said the titanium clips fit all knives from the WE/Civivi world, so WE, Civivi and Sencut. It's a front flipper, my first, & I'm having a hard time getting it going. Seems to me like the detent is a bit too strong, so I'm using the thumb studs instead to flip it open. I hope that once it gets broken in a bit more, it'll be easier to use that front flipper. Maybe I'll get one of these Sachse's too, I like what you showed of it!

The praxis was the only knife that the screws didn’t reach or one screw didn’t reach but it was right there man , so close too so…I took a new utility knife and scored around the back of the knife to chisel out 1/16” flat which is hardly anything . • @Rollshambo
      @Rollshambo  Před rokem +7

Hey Joel! I would agree with your first statement if the reason for buying a knife like the Sachse is because thats all that could be afforded at that moment if its being bought as a consequence of budget absolutely save up and buy something better, but as someone that owns several knives that cost 8-12x that much I can tell you that I personally enjoy carrying a cheaper option at the same time as a more premium one, its rather freeing to know that if I want to do dumb stuff with one of my knives like use it as a prying tool (I know, the horror right)that I can do so and wont cry about have to reprofile the edge or the tip. as for lock test strength, many of the knives I review were lent to me (not going to destroy someone elses lock) so testing the strength of a knife lock isnt really part of my process on camera, ill say this though, button locks arent sturdy locks and I dont advise using any button lock (including protechs) in hard use case scenarios, thanks for dropping by brother and cheers!

"Cant believe they dont add this as am extra option!" Bro.... how did you get this if it isnt an option?

    • @Rollshambo

It's not listed as an option. For sencut knives...and because the sachse isn't listed on its compatibility list many people wouldn't consider it as an option 😉

Beware in humid conditions.... the spring rusts like F (unlike the other parts) and the lock fails under pressure overtime. Got my Sachse 7 months now. Easy steel to sharpen but wont hold a good edge.
Btw, this video was just a clip change? What a bummer... it looks cheap bending like that and i rather have the original pocket clip. Got the Elementum as well and would not put it on that knife either. But hey... its TITANIUM 😂

    "Sashe" it's a Russian word.
Why don't you mention the hidden lanyard hole

It's Sachse and in German it means an inhabitant of Sachsen = Saxony, but since Sencut also has the Watauga, another city in Texas, it could be a Texas theme.
