People...People... When a really good music is played for you, don't wanna miss out on anything. You just stand there, grasping as much as you can and appreciate it. Jack shows one of his multi-talentedness.
I don't know how I've become so addicted to this band. I can't stop listening to them or watching performance videos. I loved The White Stripes and I love The Kills and I think my The Dead Weather love is eclipsing both of those bands. They are just that amazing.
@Otie Jason you’re obviously trolling. A show is a show. When you’re in it it’s all energy the music is there. But the energy is what makes a show a show. I’d be kicking ass with you Hannahbelle! 🤘🏾😆🤘🏾
If I had seen this before actually hearing album or even hearing before ever, I would be stunned and standing there with a big grin on my face. Definitely a good looking show. I can't wait to you guys at Bonnaroo this summer.
My 8-years-old sister loves this song, and so do I :) Great performance, in my opinion. I'd love to see them live, and I think I won't miss their concert the next time they'll visit Poland. If they will, of course :D
Just got back from a show in Billings, MT, and needed a third encore. We made this crowd look like the suburban housewives they are. We rocked the place!
@awquity i think they are simply stunned by alison's beauty and voice and jack's pure talent:) too stunned to react... i know i would be if i got to see them live. maybe one day...
I have to admit. When I saw them live, they opened up with "60 Feet Tall" and during that entire first song I did not dance, I did not scream, I just stood there with my jaw dropped. It was amazing.
Actually, Jack started out playing drums, he had two sets that took up most of the space in his room. He discusses it in the brilliant film "It Might Get Loud".
@Zurahification this was recorded in june 2009, before the album came out ... it was probably the first time this poeple heard the band ...and abviously the public wasn't into this king of music
Im about to put all your little minds at ease...The reason the crowd appears to suck is because this is the first time most of those people are hearing the songs. This show was on 6/17/09, while the album wasnt released until 7/14/09. Think about when youve been at a show and the band played a new one you hadnt heard yet. This set was full of them. An amazing show to be at (I wasnt). Im sure alot of those people wish they could go back and do it again, now that they know and love the songs.
THIS is what shows should be about. I mean sure, it's not "album perfect", but it's REAL with emotion and ... just awesome. I'd have a real performance over lipsyncing any day. Any artist resorting to auto-tune or lipsyncing will always be insignificant compared to REAL music, made with heart and soul.
There's really nothing about Alison that I like on stage, neither her voice nor her presence on the stage or her performance in all. I really can't see what it is that people love about her...
I love how deeply Alison gets into the music. She's at the brink of tears in the deep, slow songs, and uncontrollably wild on the fast, fun songs.
People...People... When a really good music is played for you, don't wanna miss out on anything. You just stand there, grasping as much as you can and appreciate it. Jack shows one of his multi-talentedness.
The desire to see Alison fight someone is so strong...
She gets me swimming. Love her
Celebrity deathmatch with Allison Mossheart and Melania Trump. My money is on Allison!!!
That snare fill after a messy part @ 02:30 is just PER-FECT !
The whole drum part to this song is pure filth.
Hard hitting rock with a synth as a lead instruments? Awesome! Wish more people would do music like this.

i used to listen dead weather when I was younger. this makes their music so nostalgic to me.
Wait so how old are you now?
20.
It’s kinda hard to be nostalgic about something that haven’t even existed 10 years....
Pain and Pleasure going extreme elevating music to something sacred
i totally played this song 11 times in a row
I would be jamming so hard. That crowd blows.
@Otie Jason you’re obviously trolling. A show is a show. When you’re in it it’s all energy the music is there. But the energy is what makes a show a show. I’d be kicking ass with you Hannahbelle! 🤘🏾😆🤘🏾
Right?
No way. That is her voice... no effect. She's awesome!
I saw MCR here like two weeks ago.
This band is awesome, and Alison!

This is excellent footage. I can't believe that I'm actually seeing this amazing band tomorrow night.
If I had seen this before actually hearing album or even hearing before ever, I would be stunned and standing there with a big grin on my face. Definitely a good looking show. I can't wait to you guys at Bonnaroo this summer.
Brilliant.

The light is just so awesome, B&W makes it a brillant video. Stunning band of course but we already knows that !
Just got back from a show in Billings, MT, and needed a third encore. We made this crowd look like the suburban housewives they are. We rocked the place!
Wow, this song is infinitely better live
@awquity i think they are simply stunned by alison's beauty and voice and jack's pure talent:) too stunned to react... i know i would be if i got to see them live. maybe one day...

imo, this is the most brilliant ensemble jack white has put together.
Awesome

Here we are, a decade later, but that's a synth pedal! Sounds so rad.
