    Hey man I’m seriously considering the scooter but the only thing that has me hesitant is the fact that it has pneumatic tube tires. I’ve heard from several Dualtron owners That they had a problem with the tube popping very quickly after they first purchased their scooter. Now this was about a year ago. As a result I’ve Wanted to stay clear of tube tires but if Dualtron has fixed the issue by Installing better tubes that don’t have that issue then I might actually purchase this scooter. You seem to be knowledgeable so any feedback you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

      Let Me Address Both Questions. No, The Way I Have My Brakes Set Up Are All Mechanical With ABS / Electronic Assist Off.. Saves Battery & Honestly, I Stop At Full Speeds Every Stop..I Did Adjust My Brakes A Lil Tighter And Have Had No Issues Or Concerns. Now The Only Thing I Have Had A Problem With Is The “Folding Pin” When Folding My DTMini. It Seems It Bent From Force... I Read The Manual & Seen To NOT Grab It By The Shaft And To Always Grab The Baseboard Section To Avoid Damaging Your DTMini.. But Still This Happened. I Feel It’s From Riding Personally... But Other Than That Everything Is Great And Works Perfect.. I Really Don’t Fold My Scooter Ever*

    Hi uploader I have a few questions about this scooter.
    1. Is it a smooth ride? If so, how smooth?
    2.do you accelerate with thumb like most regular electric scooters? I’d really really appreciate an answer. I got really burned with my first e scooter and need something smooth and with the thumb control. I hope you don’t have to twist handle to accelerate because that’s too finicky for me.

      @essenceu.g.p.backstage3594  Před 3 lety +1

      *Graham Kelly* Thanks For Commenting & Asking Some Great Questions.
      1. The Ride Is The Smoothest I’ve Had & I’ve Tried Around 5-6 Of These Similar Models From Other Companies. You Can Adjust The Shocks A Bit Also*
      2. It Has A Throttle Lever Similar To The Brake Just Smaller & Simple To Adjust To Your Specific Comfortability. You Can Adjust Certain Settings Also To Help The Ride Not Feel So Bumpy When Braking.. At High Speeds ABS Tends To Work Almost Too Well.. So I Suggest Adjust Some Electronic Settings In The *EYE* Also To Get The Most Out Of Your *Dualtron Mini E Scooter*
      Hope That Helps & Believe Me It’s A Ride Worth Experiencing. Thanks Again For Watching & Have A Great Day!

      @@essenceu.g.p.backstage3594 hi,
      Thank you so much for reply. I have 1 very important question.
      On the dualtron mini website it states that it weighs 22kg. My basic scooter is 13kg and I can quite easily hold with 1 arm and can carry it up and down stairs in my house, easily. I just bout the solar p1 and while it looks incredible, I can barely lift it with 2 hands and I actually hurt my back, just unpacking. So my question is.
      1. Does this scooter really weigh 22kg? Regardless of answer, can you easily pick up and carry up or down a typical flight of stairs , in a home? My 13 Kg is fine and if dualtron mini does weigh 22kg I think I might just be ok. After all, it’s only 9 kg heavier then my cheap 1. Also, I’m only 5ft 5. Do you think the handlebars may feel too high for my height? I’m in 2 minds as to if I should send back my p1. I’m just worried that it may get damaged on way back to store, in transit and I may not get a refund or they may only give me way less then the £930 that I paid. Would love to hear back from you. Cheers.

      Yes It Does Weigh 48lbs. Your Size Seems To Be The Demographic For This Scooter. Lighter / Faster / More Features Than Most Scooters In That Price Range.. And If Not Better Build Quality. I Do Have Some Problems With The Folding Lock Mechanism But Other Than That The Scooter & Company Have Been Very Well Above Satisfactory When It Comes To Setup & Questions.
      Hope That Helps & *Again Thanks For Watching* !

    Thank you for the great review. I am debating either Dualtron Mini or Mercane Wide Wheel Pro. Only thing is my commute has a lot of hills so I don't know if Wide Wheel's 1000W dual motors will do the better job or more powerful 1450W single motor Dualtron Mini will....damn... I really don't know which one to buy. Have you tried any hills with Dualtron Mini yet? If you did, how was it? Did it suffer going up or was it smooth?

      Hey *Han Lee* Thanks For Commenting!
      I Feel That With A Single Rear Wheel Drive Scooter.. It Saves On Battery Life*.. Also While Living In A Front Range Area Of The Rocky Mountains I Found It Does Feel Like Your Losing A Massive Amount Of Speed But When I Hit A 30% Grade Hill Area I (Under 190 lbs) Found It To Keep A Great Volt Range While Maintaining Above 20 Mph! Feels Slower Only Because On Flat Or Down Hill I Hit Top Speed Before The Initial Climb. But All In All It Was A Smooth Ride Nonetheless. Dualtron Mini Also Has A Really Great Set Of Air Filled Tires To Add To The Smoothness Of The Ride.. As Far As Overall Smooth The Dualtron Mini Beats The Wide Wheel Scooter In Build / Speed / Distance / Durability Etc Wether You Choose The 13ah Or 17ah Model. With A BLDC Dual Hub Motor With Max 1450 Watts.. It Can Easily Out Power The (2) 500 Watt Motors On The Wide Wheel Scooter*
      This Is Solely My Opinion Based On My Expertise And Knowledge. Please For Futher Details Or In-Depth Questions I Suggest You Contact MiniMotorsUSA By Using My Link In The Description.. Under “Cantact” Email Or Call And They Are Sure To Guide You In The Right Direction 100%.

So basically it's like rear wheel drive car VS all wheel drive car XD But I was thinking even though Mini is rear wheel drive, it has extra 450W power so I believe it will out power Wide Wheel easy... And I kind of figured that Dualtron built quality is much higher than Wide Wheel. As long as Mini can go up hills, I'm sold! Thanks again for the great help!

      I Prefer Safety Over Anything.. The Zero 10 Is A Great Comparison To The Dualtron Line Up.. UltimatelyIts Up To You.. If You Like More Off Roading.. One Wheel Pro.. Although These Scooters Do Ride Off Road.. Control & Safety Are An Issue.. Especially For First Time Riders. For Me, The Dualtron Line Has A Great Support & Service That Are UnMatched Period. I literally at first sight loved this scooter. Now I have a speedway mini 4, do you think it was worth it on dualtron mini? (Sorry for English 😬)

    • @essenceu.g.p.backstage3594
      @essenceu.g.p.backstage3594  Před 4 lety +3

      The *Speedway Mini 4 Pro* Is Very Close To The Dualtron Mini As Far As Specs Go.. The Speedway Mini 4 Pro Is Close When It Comes To Top Speed / Range.. But Knowing That Those Are Under Perfect Conditions You’ll Get Slightly Less Speed / Distance Than Listed. 48v, Max 1360watt, 6hrs To Charge, Panasonic Cells (Battery Type), 265lbs Max Weight, Weighs 35lbs, 8” Tires, And Regenerative Electric Drum Brake Are The Key Features. The Cost Is Roughly $500 Less As Well.
      Now The *Dualtron Mini* , Even Though Slightly Heavier At 48lbs, Has A Higher Top Speed Of 32mph And Distance Of 34 Miles. I’ve Personally Reached 37mph Down Hill (Not Very Steep) With Power Save Settings At Zero. The Led Lights & Shocks Are Definitely An Upgrade. There’s A Power Button For The LED Lights That’ll Also Save You Battery When Not On. I Rode My DT Till It Completely Drained From Riding At Full Speed And Was Amazed At How It Keeps It’s Power (48v Right Before It Drained Completely) 28 Miles In Distance (On Hilly Colorado Roads). The Shape & Height Also Give A Great Advantage. With 9” Tires And Mechanical / Regenerative Electronic / ABS Rear Brake, This Scooter Feels Safe To Ride At Top Speed. 37% Climbing Grade Compared To 27% On The SW Mini 4 Pro. LG Cells Are Also One The Best Quality / Reliable Cells For Electric Mobility Out On The Market Today.
      *Inconclusión* , The Price Was Not As Much My Concern As My Health & Safety Were When Purchasing. I Weigh Under 200lbs & Don’t Ever Feel Like I Will Reach The Max Weight. The Folding Mechanism Is Solid & Built Tough! It Does Take Roughly 10hrs To Charge And When I Ride On A Normal Basis I Find Myself Only Charging It Once A Week. I Don’t Want To Worry About Certain Things When Riding My E Scooter At Top Speeds & Long Distances, So This Was One Of Their Newer Models With All The Bells & Whistles... I Took The Leap And Was NOT Disappointed ;)
