I'm from Australia and I have a corolla with the same vvtli 1.8 engine except it's called a sportivo they are essentially the same car I think I love hearing the little 1.8 scream to nearly 9000 rpm and they are definitely a underrated car great video keep it up

Loved my tsport.. if someone hadn't hit me (while I was stationary at a f*cking red light) I'd probably still be driving it.
    Definitely an underrated wee car

Just need alot more downshifts for it to pick up on lift unless u like chasing all the way though rpm to get into lift fun either way !!!

Usually not too bad if you’re setting but yeah like you say a downshift does help sometimes. It’s a wicked feeling though

loved my t sport, was totally stock and wash the quickest car i owned at the time, didnt need to do anything to it when it was quick and overtaking a breeze and the sound of the engine when it hit 'lift' , was a fund car. sadly the one i brought ended up being discovered as a lemon, so became the most unreliable car ive owned and i used to have a rover and and mg.. the running costs were stupid and certain parts you could only get from the dealer due to needing to come from japan. throttle body replacement cost like 1200 quid 🤨🤣

Seen this one in person, its a noisy shed ;) jk, he's got a good spec on it. I have a face-lift one and the sound alone is enough to make you love it, getting really rare aswell!

Mate does it have any mirrors? Situational awareness makes you a better bad ass driver. You look forwards and that's about it!!!!

What you’ve done to it is 100% not for me. You say this is an EP3 killer. I drive one of these. It’s not even close to an EP3. If you want to race an EP3, you’ll get gapped every time assuming both cars are standard. In the corners, the Type R is miles better. On the straights the Civic is faster. There’s a reason why the Corolla never caught on as well as the Type R. It’s because the Type R, for fast driving, is a much better and more focused car. Where the Civic enthusiastically corners, the Corolla understeers, pitches and dives. Don’t get me wrong. These are good cars. I love mine. However, if you want a hot hatch straight out of the box that’s going to handle like it’s on rails, this is NOT the car for you. To get a T-Sport to handle, you’re gonna need to invest in the suspension and chassis.
I made this comment because the thumbnail and title is, in my opinion, misleading.

true that this is not really a ep3 killer, but for comparison a 2k corolla vs a 7-9k ep3 is crazy, the 4 door version corolla TS in my opinion is just so much better
