Hello viewers! I'm back after a 4 month hiatus! 😁
This is a 16 minutes video of a bike restomod, containing purple parts with a little brown classic or retro taste. The bike is a Cannondale Touring with an exact 700c tire clearance for a gravel bike. Frame was polished to obtain it's silvery look and protected by retro leathers with lace!

Nice ❤ . I've got my downhill bike with nearly every purple part from hope on it . I had some spank tweet 26 in purple untill some gronk stole them an you can't get them anymore but had spare set in blue still look good on a fluro orange frame an green brake an gear cable.... Purple the world 🌎🌎

did you manage to find the fork?
Yeah it's a Chinese made steel fork. Look up Silverock, there are some Ti forks being made but I've never ridden one.
I wouldn't build it 1 by and that many purple details but oooh boy it looks good! Great job saving that old gem!

@@mrrazorrusify ну такое уже делал автор. Да и это уже не ретро 🤷🏻 Геометрия старой рамы такая же как сегодняшняя штамповка из Китая, на которую китайцы не забывают установить дисковые тормоза.

Restraint is the name of the game when it comes to accent colours, personally I think it'd have looked much better with a purple headset, BB, and hubs, with the rest of the purple components either black or silver. The finish you got on the frame is amazing though, really nice.

When I build something I have a personal bug about open thread holes in a frame so either put stainless mushroom head bolts in then or little plastic plugs.

Diria lo mismo. Me recordé de la bike que tenía mi viejo. Aquí en Brasil en São Paulo andava al rededor da la Universidad de São Paulo (USP). Le me metía cacau con una Caloi 10, en esa época no existía cassete, era la carraca. Me trajo muy buenos recuerdos este vídeo.
Your video brought back memories of my old father. He learned to love cycling from his grandfather who was a great athlete in Santiago, Chile. When we came to Brazil in 1971, El bought a Caloi 10, and pedaled kilometers every weekend, cycling around the University of São Paulo. He taught me to love bikes. He passed away in 2004, I miss him. His video brought back a lot of memories for me. Thanks!
