Loved this very much. You guys are rippin those big girls. Quick suggestion/tip on the Quadlock Curtis: there’s a half moon shaped metal spring/clip that keeps tension on the locking mechanism. Overtime that spring can fatigue, or if you’re stupid like me and you take it apart to replace the lever and go to reinstall incorrectly you bend the spring almost completely flat. If you take it apart, bend it out wider as far as you can so it stays under tension. That might be why your phone is always falling off.
I'll have a look bud. I haven't taken it apart but you never know

Quick question: do you ever think about keeping a folding saw and shovel in your gear bag? It might be the cadet in me but keeping those things on me on 4wd trips is essential in my mind for track modifications/ repairs
It was a good one. I personally don't, but I've been on rides where people have. I just go around, over or turn back. I'm all for track fairies who clean tracks, I just don't have the time sadly
When comparing your footage from your last riding video "this ride had it all " both videos are pretty good quality but I have to give the GoPro a little better. I been wanting to try some insta360 products but haven't pulled the trigger yet. As far as your riding 👌 your riding skills are on point. Love watching your videos for what adventure your on next. Awesome video! 👍
Thanks mate, appreciate the comment. I think the GoPro has the quality edge too. Here's the thing though, the 360 worked seamlessly the whole time and I didn't lose any audio, an issue I've had with external mics for ages (the 12 seems promising though)

Heavier and not as narrow. T7 is pretty good off-road

Gday Lawrie. Yes they do a 19 inch front which would suit your bike. I'd consider the standard Adventure rear though for your big girl
Good stuff mate. Got myself a Triumph 1200 XE Scrambler not long back. I've been hitting a few dirt tracks, nothing to serious. I feel inadequate watching you blokes. It's a pretty capable off road bike but the thought of chucking it around where you are strikes a bit of fear into me.

@@onthebackwheel It's a great bike. Goes hard, looks great. I'm not sure it's a great fully off road bike. The heat from the headers on ya leg gets pretty uncomfortable after a while, especially in the bush if you're standing. A bit of tweaking and that can be fixed I reckon. It takes a bit of getting used to chucking nearly quarter of a tonne around on a dirt track. Saying that, the suspension is spot on and it handles well. I watched your clip on tyres which has given me a bit to think about. I reckon I can greatly improve it dicking about with them. Love ya channel

I gave up on the quad lock. Ppl rave about them my phone kept popping off exactly like yours and it’s happed to friends as well. You can buy a nylon stretchy thing that goes around the lot so it it falls out it’s not lost. If you’re interested let me know and I’ll send you a link to them. A buck or two each I think. Cheap insurance for a phone
Mate that would be appreciated. I have changed to portrait mode and it hasn't fallen off. Bloody annoying especially after I did a positive review! I've done a warranty claim, we'll see if they come to the party

I'm a little curious about the camera. Video rendered in what bitrate? Can you try to film at higher framerate like 50 or 60fps? Do you ride i low light and if so, how do the camera perform? Thanks. 😊
Hi, the rendered bitrate was 80. You can do 4k up to 120fps. The low light is pretty good on this one, it's even got a dedicated mode

I thot u changed to yoshi exhaust.. why u swapped back to original ?
And quadlock is not for offroad.. get the cheap chinese 6claws mount... i can swear by them.. i have them on all 5 my bikes.. they all go offroad
Hi. I've done a warranty claim on the quad lock, I'll see how that goes! I think the bars are a tricky one. You could easily change them, but it's quite a heavy bike with a long wheel base and a slowish rake so the wide bars help. I've never had a Yoshi, I wish!
