Steve Martin was, is and will always be a wild and crazy guy 😂
Hell yeah. 3 Amigos is one the great films ever put out
that guy went so far, considering he was born a poor black child!!!
Spoiler alert: NO FLAIR MATCH TALK
Some people just don't care
Thank you!
is there any first Triple H RAW review?
Boooooo!!
Good.
King Tut-N Corny... "How'd you get so funky!?, Funky Tut!"
Love that song!
Al Bundy is the best tv dad in history. By a long shot.
Loads of advice but sadly I didn't learn his most valuable lesson lol
Props to Travis for those genuine hieroglyphics. Clearly a master of the ancient language.
I can't make out what's behind Corny's outstretched arm, or what's behind his elbow and left hip. Any ideas?

I never thought I'd hear Edgar Winter get a mention on this podcast. Theur singer Rick Derringer is responsible for Real American Hogan's entrance music.
He also wrote one for demolition
“He’s my favorite Honkey, Corny Tut!”
Those drawings are hilarious. My second fave: Col. (Corny) Sanders. 😂😂😂
Props to Jim for mentioning Aldo Nova, Fantasy is a great song, dude is set in the 90's he wrote and played on a few Celine Dion hits
isnt he a convicted pedo no that gary glitter sorry
I sure hope Jim goes off on stacy for forgetting to tell him she was going to summerslam. Where she had a date with kid rock.
The Steve Martin reference and thumbnail put this entire episode over for me.
Weasel Dooley update at 39.50
Wondering what Jim and Brian will think about HHH allowing the words wrestling and wrestler to be spoken in WWE now. Just need the word belt allowed.
Strap
Not to mention "title shot"
Wwe will always be shit.
I haven't watched wrestling since 99 but this podcast is always entertaining
Liar.
Steve Martin was the greatest unofficial cast member SNL had. He was always great on every episode he hosted.
Hes still phenomenal, only murders in the building is great...stevemartinshort forever!
I agree, with Alec Baldwin in second. Steve Martin was so good and his appearances so iconic that a lot of people still assume he actually was a cast member.
My Blue Heaven was poorly written, directed or thought out. Acting is...ok BUT Steve Martin is pure magic every moment. Genius! Seen it 20 times and I'll end up watching 20 more LoL Just for him.
I was a Mad TV guy myself
YOU ARE NOW WATCHING MAD TV

@@goligogo923 that movie is great. He has some of the best lines in that movie but agreed it’s pretty poorly thought out and all that. He’s a frikin riot
Kevin Nash said the same exact thing on his podcast when it comes to the AEW product. Said it reminds him of WCW Thunder
I love it! Tutankorny 👊❤
"There you go, Travis."
Yes Thank u Brian and Jim I need this because I’m feeling sad I’m just remembering ppl I know and I don’t know if the still a live my dad passed away 2017 August 13 so it’s tough for me right now
Enjoy the show, hope it picks you up friend
My Grandma is in hospice while I’m in the hospital man. I probably won’t get to see her again and it’s killing me. I’m sorry you’re going through it too.
@@DillyDilly13 I’m truly sorry that sucks I don’t have any of my great grandparents or my both sides of my family grandparents are dead I know it feel I hope Cornett see my coolest likes it and me a heart

Sending you strength my friends. This podcast kept me going when my dog passed away in June. Loss is a terrible thing. Peace and love ❤️
Happy Corny got to connect with his misplaced friend!!!
I LOVED The Heavenly Bodies coming out to Frankenstien !!!! IDK why , but it fit so damn well !! That riff just MADE their entrance for me .
There’s a gag in The Simpsons where young Homer tries to make friends with some guys blasting this song in their “Second Base Mobile”.
The Heavenly Bodies woulda fit right in with that moment.
Especially with jim doing the intros over it 😁
The hieroglyphics are killing me🤣🤣
Ahh so that's why jimmy didn't email me back!
Why hasn't Jim & Brian reviewed Ric Flair's Last Match?
Been checking for that also
They won’t because they have beef and broccoli with Conrad Thompson who put it on.
maybe on drive thru
@@jonbenetramseykek7970 OH? Do tell...
Oh God who cares. Knowing Flair it wont be the LAST match
I know it's not the topic, but Renee Paquette & Jelly Nutella had a conversation on Paquettes "oral sessions" and both said so stupid things about Jim and his fans!
I hope Jim & Brian will react to this garbage...! I was so fucking mad, especially about Paquette...! Clueless woman!!!
Frampton used a Heil talk box, not an electronic kazoo. Lol Great episode guys.
Aldo Nova did have another hit called Monkey on Your Back, a cautionary song about getting hooked on smack.
Went to #12 on Rock tracks that year. But rarely ever played since.
Leave it to beaver was a GREAT show, i still watch if im flippn channels. Hugh Beaumont had the best hair too Brian. He was on point all the time
I just stumbled back upon the world of pro wrestling and I must say I absolutely love it. Keep up the great work Jim, I used to watch you work on TV back in the 90s when I was a kid and I've always loved your brash personality, even more so now that I understand the way wrasslin works with it's back stage dealings etc.
Maybe Vince can run a beach shop too 😂😂
Anyonw else checking back daily for the Flair last match review? lol
Yeah has cornette reviewed it? It was awful. It's not in this episode is it? I'm just starting to listen however it's over 3 hours and I know I'll fall asleep it's late and I'm in bed.
*raises hand*
Nope
Did they ever even talk about it at all? I'm hoping they do too just thought it was weird it's never come up unless I am wrong
When he reviews it he will put Flair over he always does. Flair put him on the booking committee back in the day
Hey Cult, (weird to say lol) but I’ve been watching some old Lesnar matches after that rivalry episode with him and Angle.
I’m watching Lesnar vs Orton from Summerslam 2016 where Brock busts open Orton to make it look like a shoot and in wondering, has Jim EVER seen the ending to this? He needs too. It’s crazy.
Leave triple h alone he’s just doing what he can.
Best tv dad of all time is Gomez Addams. 2nd is Herman Munster. Morticia and Lilly were also 1 and 2 as moms.
Samantha Stephens of Bewitched is best tv wife.
Lilly munster was a cousin
@@metalmutherfucker1016 do you mean actress was your cousin? Or just in general. Or maybe autocorrect changed it and you meant to say Lilly was a cougar?
Travis must have had a ball drawing the hieroglyphics:)
I would of thought he had a pen drawing them, relax it’s just a joke 😋
Regarding ALL of the belts in AEW, more belts lowers the special meaning of them. The term: "Sometimes less is more" should be brought to their attention. I'm not knocking them down a peg, just making a solid point. A champion with a title used to mean something real special about them, but when almost everyone has one it not only gets confusing, but waters down what the product (AEW) has to offer. A title belt should have a meaning to them, like glory, going against the odds, the irresistible force meets the unmovable object, ETC. I liked it when we had the territory's had their own title belts that were like, but not limited to: The territory champion, the television champion, the Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champions, even a US Champion. The NWA World Heavyweight Champion would also be entered to the territory's too when we had a traveling champion who conducted themself like a real champion would such as Lou Thez, Harley race, and especially Ric Flair who took that belt everywhere and dressed like a champion, acted like a champion, and lived his kayfabe persona to keep from exposing the business in places such as a restaurant, or bar. If promoters were smart today, they would work together and bring back the territory system which would give the wrestlers more experience, the correct amount of exposure so we don't see them ALL the time, and even giants (like Andre the Giant) would be used right by not being exposed in one territory too much like Andre did in the 70's. As for some of the "entertainers" leaving WWE like that dip sh!t fat a$$ Brock..F him. He is a piece of garbage who doesn't even like wrestling, let alone knows any wrestler in the golden era. He is not a fan, he is a fat crying troll who should have his a$$ kicked in for being such a whiny b!tch! I'd love to shove my size 18 boot in his fat a$$ myself... So F Brock and F his dirty thing he calls his wife with the boobs that point at you and the Coke machine to your right.
He does like wrestling and he is doing wrestling wwe because he wants to. But i agree with you about aew.
This escalated quickly
Steve Martin gets mad respect as a Renaissance man - comedian, actor, author, musician, art critic.
Musician? What does he play?
@@nohatersallowd5709 I'm led to believe that he's somewhat proficient with a five-string banjo.

Closest thing to a hit followup for Aldo Nova was Monkey on Your Back.
18 windows from Anderson? That's a pretty penny.
Rick derringer was also part of the rock and wrestling connection he was responsible for hogans song real american which was originally as I've heard for golden boy dan spivey
"They say the classics never go out of style, but they do... they do. Somehow, baby, I never thought... that we do too.'

A Mudshow.

Just sayin, Id pay extre for the figures that have been beaten up by Jim because he couldn't see FTR/Briscoes... If I had money lol
Marked out for Weazel update, please do a show with him, if possible 🙏
Personally, I liked the Saturday Summerslam, it's Sunday during the day here in Australia so that good, and it's very nostalgic to when I first saw WWF as a kid.
Vince should reopen the restaurant in NY and just full Tony Clifton that shit every night.
Big problem with Mox (beyond just him being him). Now you got Mance warner and Eddie Kingston, you got two guys that are a better Moxley than Moxley.
Mance is the full package with the old school south flavour.
Eddie is on another level character wise, he's like Raven, not amazing in ring but he can do anything you want him to and make it seem believable.
Then there's Mox, who to his credit believes what he does and doesn't crack, but the gold to trash ration is one sided to trash.
As a nerd, no, no Im bot watching AEW. Fanboy, is maybe a vetter term.
AEW got so much talent but zero directional clue. (Refrains from listing guys/gals you can make a killer show with lol)
Well, Keith Richards was in s hool with him, so it makes sense the Stones promotor was the one booking Tut's tomb.
Martin Short is the name Steve Martin uses when he wants to be anonymous checking in to hotel rooms.
HughBeaumont WAS the greatest TV Dad of ALL TIME . Hands down !

the Normal Weasel Dooly update was the best!

Great Pyrenees are wonderful, loving dogs. Huge fluffy yeti-dogs, but lovable.
the hieroglyphics behind jim were killing me lol
Al Bundy was the best TV dad, Bart Simpson best son, best wife Lucy , best neighbor Erkle
Best room mate was Chrissy Snow 😍
Those hieroglyphics 😂😂😂
“Twinkle Toes” and “Plumber Moxley” LOL Travis definitely earns his $$$
Yes Jim. We are in Now, Now. We had to go thru then to get to now…
Here just for the King Tut artwork. Id be here anyways but I clicked faster than normal. There was an argument a month ago about the bit and whether or not it was funny. And people didn’t think it was funny anymore! But that’s just because they always cut off the bit before where he’s talking so serious and sincere about King Tut. And then busts into that ridiculous song and dance, that’s the whole damn joke.
Had to edit. He commented on the very thing I was thinking of! Good man Brian.
Yes Chevy Chase did play drums he talks about it in an interview Brian wright
Lol, there you go Travis lol
King TutanCorny 🤣
My brain's been combining Jim as Steve Martin's King Tut with that video of him doing the Fargo Strut. I wish I had the animation skills to bring it to life, but it's a gosh darn amusing scene to play out in my head.
Some Aldo Nova love....that's actually a good album. I still rock out to "Foolin' Yourself'.
So glad Corny and Weasel reconnected but can we get Weasel on the podcast?
Isn't it almost unbelievable that they hadn't talked in years.
Those hieroglyphics are ALL ELITE
Aldo Nova played on the blaze of glory soundtrack and put out a great solo album in the early 90s that was forgotten about due to the grunge glut
Loved the Midnight Special talk, very cool
The best TV dad has to be Andy Griffith
Yes yes yes
I recently seen an episode where Opie bugged a jail cell when a criminal was talking to his lawyer, Opie went running to Andy with this tape of the criminal confessing, and Andy told Opie " I can't listen to that, I don't care what he says, you violated his privacy, and you heard a private conversation that you wasn't meant to hear. Privacy is one of the most sacred rights" And Opie says "but pa I was just trying to help" and Andy says "the law doesn't need that kind of help", and Andy deleted the tape.
That funky Tut
My favorite TV dad is Jax Teller.
Hi guys...emailing some adrenalin Brian quick hahahahahaha
Let's see, Dick Van Dyke created and written by Carl Reiner. I've heard enough. I am old enough to have seen both shows first run. There is just no comparison at all. Brian, you're wrong, again, stick to wrestling.
One is an show centered on the lives of annoying, over acting kids. The other is a comedy writer and his dancer wife hosting neighborhood parties with a rare appearance from their neglected, but otherwise healthy son. No contest.
"We're still a couple inches behind"

I work for renewal, the widows are worth the money, but it takes like 10 months to get em
Jim Cornette & Brian Last should keep on making more episodes!
i think they will for certainly
You’re either 12 or 65
You should email and say to make more episodes.
That’s a hell of an idea! We should get a kickstarter going to fund more episodes. Also they could have another show, and just switch which one is the host and which one is the guest! I’d also suggest they hire someone to make artwork that sums up each episode for the thumbnail. I think we’re onto something here, Mike!
@@12ozmouse99 if only they had a lawyer to advise on this great idea of doing more episodes, a man who would fight for true wrestling fans and sue these outlaw mud show wrestlers & promoters, a man who could plead a sodomy case to a rear ending, a man that wiling to defend Brian Lasts horrible food choices...🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵🎛🎛🎛🎛🎤🎤🎤🎤🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾
