1. physical vapor deposition PVD
2. chemical vapor deposition CVD
physical vapor deposition technique is a physical process and does not involve any chemical reaction
Chemical vpour deposition involves chemical reaction during the synthesis of thin films
Thermal evaporation technique
In this method the source material is directly evaporated in a vacuum and is deposited onto a substrate

Hello, what size are the nanoparticles of molten gold emitted when evaporating due to high temperature?

you have to measure that or you should try to search in somewhere in research papers , thermal evaporation is mainly for thin films se we deposited it over a substrate then we do further calculation, nano particles might be different from thin films they are particles and are some time in form of powder
