I'll never criticise Orton and Triple H having a 25 minute match in Saudi, the 45 degree heat, good on them for doing the lionshare of the wrestling in that heat.

I think even the saudi crowd would've preffered a 10 min match. Better for everyone.

That’s when the PPV should have ended. I was at that event live but (even though I like all three ladies) that “main event” was a snooze. Rey almost winning the title exhausted the entire crowd and there was nothing those girls could have done to save the end of the show.
I was there also, they should have ended with the Men's Survivor Series match, or end with the girls but at the end empty the NXT locker room and go off the air with the whole arena chanting NXT, NXT, ...

During the WM35 bit, "...other bright spots include Randy Orton vs AJ Styles". No clue if that was intentional but my lord that gave me a great laugh.
Mansoor is underrated talent, him being booked as just "saudi boy" doesn't give him credit for how charismatic and funny he can be. His indie matches were also fun.
I was at the Smackdown after Crown Jewel. and I can tell you that the crowd loved it. My dad (who didn't know anyone from NXT) called it the best show he'd seen in years.

Fun fact: None of the individual titles was defended on TLC, and this particular PPV ended John Cena's streak in PPV participations.

saudi ppv shows being on the worst ranked list of ppvs is sure gonna be a running theme for the next couple of years

@Ziad Khaled HIAC was a so-so show. It had decent matches. It's that horrendous main event that made it a stinker. The Saudi shows were terrible through most, if not, all of its matches. The only match I recall enjoying is Finn Balor vs Andrade Cien Almas.
Becky and Sasha match was the only match worth watching at hell in the cell in my opinion
Saudi Events are so trash. All superstars can't be there cause of certain restrictions and wwe make up random pointless matches.
@@jayjayh23 Well, they put out late time dream matches where the WWE isn't really popular (well known) like Australia or Saudi Arabia. It never works.
NXT was omitted from the list and STILL made #1.

2019 Royal Rumble was sooo good. Not necessarily the Rumbles themselves but the matches (especially Sasha vs. Ronda) were awesome.

It might as well be the main title for how much it has been pushed over actual world title
I think he meant it as "a WWE title", as in booking the ref to stop a Hell in a Cell title match for ANY championship is BS.

By now, it really doesn't seem to matter. The WWE and Universal Title seem snoozers now. Yeah Reigns is doing well but that'll get stale soon enough, and Lashley's reign already seems a snoozer.

That match at the royal rumble between Finn and Brock was the best thing that WWE has done for Balors career in the last 3 years. It really showed that he had incredible in ring talent and that he had the ability to fight the top guys and can win
I went to hell in a cell and remember the rest of the matches except for the Charlotte and bayley match😂
The main roster can keep their mainstream wrestlers because NXT and NXT UK have the better products

Sasha Banks rarely got a chance to shine in 2019 but still she had the two best matches against Rousey (RR) and Becky (HIAC). Hoepfully she get the title reign and recognisiton she deserves soon

The 2019 PPVs seemed to have this pattern of starting well and then going downhill.
Did they run out of video tape? Another solid analysis but feels like it wasn't wrapped up.
Been a wrestling fan since 2006, was going to attend my very first PPV in with Survivor Series.. things came up and I had to sell my tickets.. my first ever wrestling PPV then ended up being TLC....

My favorites were Wrestlemania 35 and Crown Jewel strictly because of Kofi and Bray’s title wins. They were two of my favorite moments of all time that I will never forget

Rumble was a better show and it wasn’t really close but you are probably a nxt smark so you both have love wwe buried raw and smackdown so nxt can beat aew for one week and then go back to losing.

I would put the Royal Rumble ahead of Survivor Series. I liked both shows, but it was so weird seeing Rhia Ripley, Bianca Bellair, and (I think) Io Shiria all teaming together 24 hours after trying to kill each other in War Games like NXT didn’t even exist
Could we get every wwe network special ranked? Since there is only a few per year y’all should just rank em all. (I would include the WWE starrcade shows maybe)

I was at summer slam and the reaction the fiend got was so intense
Extreme Rules was awesome. I may be bias because I was there but from the crowd everyone was loud and I got to see Undertaker and a MITB cash in
WrestleMania 35: the PPV where the fans got what they wanted. And then the fans decided to gradually turn on the 3 main baby faces that they wanted to win.
It's amazing the only 4 sasha was in she was always in the good, and she was out half the year
The main event for Survivor Series immediately excludes it from top spot. It was bad

I personally believe royal rumble should be number one, cause there was nothing bad on that show at all, with the rowan thing having good payoff, balor looking strong, a good men's rumble, a decent women's one, 2 big babyface wins, and that match of the year candidate between asuka and becky, which for a moment restored some of asuka's shine. that on top of the rousey and banks match which was also great, and the fun tag title match, and ignoring the pre-show, it was incredible

"A predictably stiff one" - I had no idea Jack was at Survivor Series. Also, take a shot every time the match is Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar. You probably won't be drunk, but you'll have a nice, warm buzz - enough to maybe forget half of the PPVs from 2019.

I was at TLC 2019. Both tag matches were negatively drawn out. Black vs Murphy was fantastic. And my boy Reigns got screwed at every turn; way too many bodies to fight against.
