BTW, Home Free got a record deal with Columbia when the won the tv competition The Sing Off at end of 2013.
Tim has since explained that a record deal is a loan, you have to pay back.
They bought themselves out of their record contract about 5 years back and have been independent since.

Adam, beatboxer grows his hair and then donates it for children who have lost their hair. Tim, deep voice, had his hair cut during lockdowns and stopped dyeing it and let the grey streak show. I love this video, and they obviously enjoyed making it, maybe not Chance though.

Chance had a migraine while they were filming this video. That would probably account for some of his facial expressions. Poor guy really suffers with them frequently.
One thing about Home Free is they are like a box of chocolates you never know what your getting it could be hilarious, serious or sweet and beautiful but you always know it’s going to be amazing.

Love this fun version! Home Free has now done this song 3 times. They are making a 10 year anniversary album of all the songs they did on the "Sing Off" that they won in 2013. This was the 2nd song they did. The 1st one was "Oh Pretty Woman". They released that one a week ago. The guys all sounded great as usual. Love Tim's low bass growl. And Adam Rupp once again stole the show with all his cool sounds. He really has an unreal range.
They are just such an amazing group of gentleman that all bring something very exciting to their music. Loving it

I love that they showed Adam doing some of his bass drops--SO talented! 🥰 I don't know that anyone has ever actually publicized Adam's range, but I sincerely believe his is the widest vocal range of all the Home Free fellas 💕
It may well be. I know he has said that his upper limit is between Rob and Austin, but that was a few years ago and I think he might have even surpassed Austin at this point.

Oh, gentlemen, I sooo enjoyed your reaction to this one. I'm sure all of the Home Fries laughed just as hard when we first saw it, and we KNOW that HF can be totally silly at times. They can make you cry from laughing or make you cry from the other end of the feeling spectrum. They have beautiful voices, and their harmonies are unmatched.
Yes, they have changed physically in the last 5 years. Tim quit coloring his hair and cut it during covid. Adam grows his out to donate for wigs for children, and right now he is in a growing out period. Austin's hair has been growing for quite a few years, but he did shave off his beard in 2020 or 2021 and let it grow again. If you watch videos from before June 2016, you will not see Chance - the guy who lost his hat - you will see the beatboxer's brother, Chris.

I can't tell you how many times I've watch this video since they dropped it yesterday. Every time I watch it I bust out laughing even tho' I know what's coming. What other group would endure so much abuse just to entertain their fans. These guys not only sound phenomenal every time out the gate, but they are just so much fun. They can do any genre of music from country to pop to serious art pieces to even opera. The diverse talent among them is insane. But, they are humble, hard working, down to earth and they genuinely love and appreciate their fans. Trust me, once you dive into the Home Free rabbit hole, you are in for a treat! You have me in hysterics while you're trying to get a "serious" picture of the amazing Adam Rupp. Good luck with that while he's beatboxing. These guys will do anything for a laugh. That’s why we love them. They sound so good while being goofy. Love this and I cracked up seeing Tim (bass in red shirt) and Chance (bass/baritone in hat). Adam is the beatboxer, Rob (glasses) and Austin (redhead in eye shirt). All super talented. Yeah, Tim used to have long dark hair but couldn’t get to a hairdresser during Covid so gray hair crept in and he cut it. Austin (redhead) let his hair grow, Adam (beatboxer) let his hair grow too. 🥰

These guys have a sense of humor and some of their videos reflect that fact. In Man Of Constant Sorrow Adam the beatboxer had short hair and Tim, the super bass had long hair. Since then Tim had a haircut and Adam let his hair grow. (He has grown it out in the past and donated it for making wigs for cancer patients). Austin's hair, their high tenor, has gotten very long and is halfway down his back since that last video you reacted to also.
Yeah the big haircut and outfit changes did make recognition quite hard but we managed to get back on track when they introduced their talents. We will soon learn all that needs to be learnt 😊
This was the second song that Home Free sang during The Sing-Off. The Sing-Off was an acapella competition show. Home Free was on the show its fourth season and won the competition. They entered the competition primarily to get more exposure. Their only goal was not to be the first group eliminated. They had no expectation of winning until later in the competition.
What is interesting is that the way that they sang this song during the competition was very different. It is almost as if two different groups did the song. During the competition, Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp's brother, was a member of the group instead of Chance. Austin Brown sang the lead in that version. The two versions just show how versatile Home Free is.

I would recommend The butts remix, yall will know those songs, and it shows their personality, In the blood, shows they can do contemporary music, Helplessly hoping, shows their harmonies, and End of the road, cause it helps round out their range. Then, when you kinda know their styles, Mayday, just to reset some assumptions.

This group was started in 2000, by Chris Rupp and his brother Adam Rupp the founder. This particular group has been together since 2016. The were on the tv show The Sing Off in 2013 and won. The guys are Adam Rupp that has the longish hair. And yes he does a great harmonica. Tim Foust bass (red shirt), Austin Brown sky high tenor ( white t-shir) and long hair and beard. Rob Lundquist lead tenor (beard and glasses) and Adam Chance baritone (goes by Chance) with the hat. This is a song from the new album called As Seen On TV. It is the 10th anniversary of them being on The Sing Off. Enjoyed watching your reactions to this song.

Great reactions guys! This group is very unique in the fact that they are very humble and down to earth. If you saw them walking down the street you would never know that they can do the things they do. One minute they have you rolling on the floor laughing and the next they have you in tears. They can sing any genre and do it well. If you ever have the opportunity to see them live definitely take it. You won't be disappointed because they are just as good or better than the studio versions of the songs. Plus, they don't put on a concert, they have a party. Their interaction with the audience is crazy. My son and I went to see them live in October of last year and they were phenomenal. Oh those guys are so good and funny. I'm laughing my ass off, especially at their faces. What fun they would have had during those recordings. I've seen it a few times and each time I see something new. But my attention still remained on the singing and that inhumanly good beatboxing. You could say I was laughing while swinging. Because it sounded amazing again. It has become much better than the performance of the Sing Off. But what I like so much is that even if you don't see the video, what you hear is still great. With many groups the song is nice and good when you watch the video, but without a video it is a lot less and I had enough after listening to it once. I don't have that at all with Home Free. They are top, but not over the top

Welcome. The guys are great. They pick the lead singer by who's voice sounds best in that song. They will make you laugh and turn around and bring tears into your eyes. They also have some great Christmas songs. You will find out they sing everything. If you see a guy wearing a cowboy hat, that is Chris Rupp. He and the beatboxer are brothers and were the one's that started the group. Chris left the group I think in 2016. By the way, Tim has broken speakers with his low notes.

Other than being excellent, I think that people love them precisely because they do not take themselves too seriously. They are perfectly happy to be silly.

Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, grows his hair out every so often to donate it -- I'm assuming to kids with cancer -- this is the second or third time that I know of. I like it better long, but have to smile and send him a "thank you" in my thoughts for his good heart when he shows up with shorter hair again. Tim Foust, the bass voice, decided to cut his longer locks and stop dying the grey while stuck at home during the quarantine. Looks like it's gonna stay that way. *sigh* Austin Brown, the high voice tenor and newlywed (yay!), has been growing his hair longer and I love it. And I'm gonna tell him that again when I see them in a couple months. This is the third time they've done a video for Oh Pretty Woman (not counting any filmed from the crowd during concerts). The Sing-Off 10 years ago, one showing them on the road to a concert 5 years ago, and this series revamping their songs for their 10 anniversary of their Sing-Off win.

Yeah, theyre the same as the first video you watched of them. Do you remember in the first video who wore hats?
Yeah just the different hair styles and clothes threw us off. We are learning but we will get there

You said something about them probably being signed by a record label but that is not true. They signed a contract after they won the Sing-Off competition but they soon broke their contract and they are totally independent artists. This is why they can’t get their songs played on the radio. There is no record company backing them. They are on Spotify, Apple Music and pretty much all online platforms so look for them there. They and their team are the driving force behind their success. They are awesome people!
