Unless camping has changed in Australia I found it really hard to be truly alone, you guys are so gregarious, that I found I'd always have someone wander over and start a conversation, just like Kinga says. Go for it Rob, you'll love solo camping, pick somewhere not too far from home, pack the minimum, take a good book and chill, you'll love it. And if you don't, you'll still have good content and we get to call you a wuss.

My first solo overnight moto camping trip I rode inland to Warrnambool and came back along G.O.R. and camped on the side of a dirt track leading into a national park, my 2nd trip was 12 days Melb - Camerons Cnr - Charters Towers - Cape Trib and came back through centre of N.S.W. across to Canberra - Jindabyne and over the Snowy's back to Melb. 9,000 km's solo and loved every minute including the spills, rain, bulldust and mud. My recommendation just get out there and do it! Fear doesn't cause death, it stops you from living. I've been following Kinga for a few years now, love her vids and her vibe.
My first time camping was at the ABR festival last year, I went on my own but there were a few thousand others there too 😂 I was keen to get the Lone rider tent like yours but could not get hold of one so I ended up going to a sports goods store and buying a big 4 person tent which was similar in set up other than the storage section was a living area. The beauty was that I could stand up in it, which is ideal. I do have a video of it on my channel I need to add solo camping to my resume, maybe I should bring it out to Denmark when I ride my bike over at the end of the month 😉 Another great vid fella,
If you like adventure biking then you gotta check out "Itchy Boots". A Dutch girl that's been all over Asia,Africa and South America on her own.You wouldn't believe where she goes on her little 300cc Honda.
Great idea to put the bike right next to the bed... if the stand slips away in the rain or on a muddy floor, your own bike will kill you in your sleep! 🤦
I notice you use an iPhone for navigation - any issues with the camera so far? I'm asking b/c Apple gave out a warning that mc vibrations might kill the camera - I have mine in a SP Connect case, but now I'm worried about putting the phone on my GS (using it on bicycle and in car though). How is your phone mounted on the bike?

I’ve always used Quadlock with their Vibration Damper. Never had an issue with my iPhone 11 Pro
