- Here is my unboxing and installation of my CVF Racing serpentine conversion for my Epic 64 Malibu SS. It's going on my over bored 350 small block motor. Been wanting this forever and finally got it.

I just got mine today and I'm so excited!! It will be going on tomorrow. Looks good man!
Awesome, i still have to get the power steering installed, but yes, great system
I just bought this set in anodized black and I cannot wait to play with it!
Yes, I love mine, excellent quality
Very good video! Thank you for making this!
Thanks so much, thanks for tuning in!
Good vid 😎
I just bought the Billet Specialties kit for $470 which includes the power steering pulley. I actually like the look of the CVF stuff better. I think Billet Specialties goes a bit overboard on the look of their pulleys. I only chose the Billet Specialties kit because it uses the threaded rods for belt tensioning.
yup, I liked the design of the Billet Spec stuff better than the CVF, But I wanted the 8 rib belts not the 6
Hey, I have a 65 SS i a building. 406 putting out about 600 HP and i went with a summit racing serpentine belt system.
Got link or part number for it?
I bought a kit for my 68 Lincoln Continental 460
The spacers you talked about are for the water pump demanding on their height and which water pump you have.
Im glad they sent them with it, some pumps apparently do not
@@Epic64SS I was reading about it a few days ago and heard you mention them.
I like your dad jokes reminds me of me.
Keep up the great work man
Did you ever go with a power Steering pump? I have the same kit on a 1980 Chevrolet, blaser With a saganaw P series pump and I can't get the pulley to fit It appears the shaft On the power steering pump is to wide. Did you have to press it on? I thought it would just slide over because it is the keyway style pump.
I did not use a press on pump, my cvf pulley slid right on the held on with a nut
@@Epic64SS Thank you. Mine is the same style. keyway with a bolt so I'm assuming either the plating is to thick or I got something else going on. Appreciate the info.
Do u put the balancer bolt& washer in first then the pullie?
I used the balancer bolt to install the balancer, you could use it but i removed it , then put the main pulley on, Its a press fit so dont really need the bolt
so for this kit does it require a reverse water pump or does it have to be a standard v belt water pump cause i already put a reverse pump.
It's not a true serpentine, so standard rotation
Did u end up putting the power steering pump & braket
Not yet, been working on other stuff.
😎😎😎
Why can't you install a balancer bolt??
Sorry, yes I did use a balancer bolt, miss spoke
“The Shiznet” lol
The SHIZ-NIT😎😎🤣😂
My big block kit took the K080375 Belt and K080408. 🤔
Does anyone make this for ls?
Yes, check out the CVF racing website, they have a bunch of different options
Why risk your motor on an $80 ebay water pump? Makes no sense
Yah I had the same thoughts when I bought it, the reviews were good, figured I'd give it a try, 2000 miles later still no issues.
Need ro go with a elc water pump
Does alot better
Every water pump pulley I have ever bought came with a spacer shim. Its common. March Performance gives you spacers. Id like to know how well the belt has stayed on not having a tensioner?
I'll be darned, the more ya know. Thx
@@Epic64SS im assuming no issues with the belt coming off yet?
@Josh Lepley absolutely not, it's an amazing setup
@@Epic64SS awesome!!!
