This helped me beat Hammy tonight. Thanks so much. I’ve been working on this battle since it released; tried to avoid using someone elses strat for once but didn’t want to miss the rubies. This is really well done. Hard battle for those who missed Sonia and Tatloch.
may I ask you for future videos you show all characters skills in the status screen along with the equipments? that way is easier to adjust the team when trying your strategy :)

Why would your hammy won’t trigger the dodge pattern change at 25% health lost on ads on turn 4? I did the exactly same action as yours, and my hammy applied the cover on the mage and 6 element dodge, whereas bot your video hammy did 3 times ice attack.
you overdamaged the 75% hp threshold. You need to underdamage it instead, then overdamage (get one of the two adds under) 50% on the following turn. She only casts elemental dodge if one or both adds ends a turn with their HP between 50 and 75%. Once/if one of the adds goes under 50% HP you'll have completely skipped actions set 2, which is the action set you're talking about where she applies cover and elemental dodge.
@@PrimismyEX confused a little bit about this. your turn 4 shows Cyrus hitting 53k-55k, yet mine, with similar starting stats (1282 eAtk instead of your 1318) is hitting 47k-48k. How is there such a large gap in damage (6-7k per hit, 18-21k total) when the setup is the same and the base stats are pretty similar?
