- Clay County Kentucky experienced some of the worst flooding in their history over the past few days when the Kentucky River flooded its banks. Folks around the area say that the flood waters hadn't risen this much in 50 years. Manchester Kentucky experienced significant flooding, but perhaps Oneida got the worst of it. The floodwaters completely engulfed the town causing millions of dollars in damage. Eastern Kentucky is no stranger to horrific flooding, but this go-around has been particularly bad!

It happened in 2021 and and 2022 in this county. I'm sure it has happened previously and will after as well. It's a flood prone area.
Always happens in rural and poor areas, this is so cruel, God Bless these poor people x
