About the speaker:
Rashmi Samant is a recent Oxford graduate where she was elected its first Bhartiya -Female President of the Student Union. She is an Energy engineer. She's also a recognized national TV panelist, occasional columnist, author & vocal advocate for the human rights of marginalized communities. Her impactful work involves collaborations with media, think tanks, & governments. Samant's notable contributions include presenting a comprehensive Human Rights Report on majority-driven violence in the British Parliament's House of Commons. Her debut book, "A Hindu in Oxford", remarkably achieved bestseller status within a mere 12-hours of its announcement. Currently she serves as the Executive Director of the Punarnava Group and published her second book Ram Janmabhoomi -The Inspiration for Hindu Resurgence. Samant hails from the coastal town of Udupi in Karnataka.
