- SayHiPaul is back and this time he has brought the Iron Hands to take on Murphy's Waagh. It's a big one. It's a 3000 point matched play game.

And Den of Imagination painted my Orks at...

Paul: "I digress."
Winters: "Yes."
Everyone else: "... and we love it"
Paul: "Feel no pain on a four up"
Winter's: "what"
Paul: "Feel no pain on a four up, screw you"
This is by far my new favorite battle rep.
Rand Al'Thor that should be what the iron warriors strategym does
“Are you the emperor, Paul?”
*says no (for legal reasons...)*
Commissar: *slowly lowers bolt pistol*
The Emperor is oh so humble.
Some say the Emperor is dead or asleep, others like Paul never doubts him!
SayHiPaul merits an instant like.
#teampaul
flipping gosh yes.
@winters the 10 minutes chat at the end of the game was great. Greatly appreciate the discussion on pros and cons and mutual player "feelings" on the battle. I think that it made the experience truly enjoyable and all-around fullfilling, together with the narrative style of the battle. Kudos.
Absolutely
Winters and HiPaul make the best duo
I picture their ork armies facing off against some of the space marine forces from other guest battles. Bad moons and Deffskullz
They say it is a gentleman's game, and Paul is the epitome of a gentleman.
He’s the definition of „this guy“.
"He's the only truly dead primarch"
Sanguinius: Am I a joke to you
And wasn't there a certain someone that got killed by an assassin?
@@argentumvulpus6060 conrad
Ahem.....Horus anybody?
Konrad was never confirmed. It is heavily implied though. And is sanguinius not now screaming?
And did not fulgrim stick ferrus head to a body and it was alive still?
@@chaosslayerofworlds6020 horus isnt dead, hes sat on the golden throne...
*Me two weeks ago* : "Yeah I think WH40K involves miniatures or something."
*Me today, after watching 15 battle reports* : "Wow these recent Space Marine changes are really making the Iron Hands strong, and that Overwatch on 5's really seems to offer a lot of battlefield control. Paul's army seems really well outfitted to deal with charge-y Orks like this!"
Thanks for the education, (I'm sure I got half that stuff wrong,) these are really fun to watch!
This was me a year ago.
Lol I’m going through that rn. Currently building a Tallarn army
@@FunkBastid where are you getting those models? I'm in the UK and can't find any at GW or couple private dealers I've looked at. They are such cool models
Luke Ives I’m seeing recasters on eBay. There is some loss in detail, but if you clean them up and paint them well they’re near indistinguishable.
@@FunkBastid OK cool ill have a look, thanks
Murphy is such a slacker, not like an ork to delegate so much.
We need more games with Paul, made my day this has
I honestly think Paul makes Winters uncomfortable lol.
I love when Paul comes round to play.
Seems like an amazing guy to play with.
The glowing windows were a nice touch. They really set the scene on the board.
Those windows. Just couldn't look away!
@@harryp9365 Same :)!
Absolutely!
Lmao are people living in those ruined buildings!? Like refugees or hobos or winos?
You two are so beautifully friendly it warms my heart to see a game start off with this level of sportsmanship and comradery.
"it warms my heart to see a game start off with this level of sportsmanship and comradery" [sic] -- "displeased sociopath"
lol
lol librarian picking up the slack in style with his plasma pistol.
"sloppy work brother, your target is still alive. no matter."
*pew*
Im sure Im not alone in saying... SayHiPaul could be on every Battle Report and no one could find a reason to complain... 29 armies, bring em all!!
I would... I prefer much more competitive games
@@jeffshackleford3152 You have a sad life don't you ?
(Don't take it to serious lmao)
@@kapanmaszyny470 I would say it is sad that I never acquired the ability to play any game casually.
Paul: I have 29 armies
Winters: momentarily turned into Jar Jar Binks
Hey Winters, Thought you’ll like to know I don’t even own or play Warhammer or anything like it. But I love strategy, the models and your battle reports. Not planning on ever playing but you guys keep me entertained.
You will be. Then it will take your soul.
This is the better option. It scratches the same "itch" for me with none of the oppressive soul stealing marriage ruining cost.
@@standarddeviation7963 I would've gotten into the hobby if it weren't for the Primaris mess.
Always wanted to collect a Red Scorpions army, but now that all of the old SM range (read: most of the cool stuff) has a damocles sword over it's head, I do not dare to make the jump.
If I ever collect a SM chapter, I want to collect different armor patterns and ancient vehicles, not just a different paintjob.
@@fernandorivera4719 I feel you man. I can't stand the primaris stuff. I got back into it anyway, though. I'm having a great time. Using Space Wolves. Tactical Squads all day.
$40,000 later....
One day you need to do a narrative campaign "The hunt for Murphy"
We're doing it. It's a new campaign called "27 Minutes" coming soon to DZTV.
Ben Ivin best comment ever 😂
There is something incredibly poetic in the building with the candles. Rationally, I know it's just some plastic and LED, but it -feels- like the last flicker of hope in the darkness. I can paint in my head the image of the civilians huddled together, some are crying, some weep, some have formed a circle around the priest in a corner and are praying... for deliverance and not to think about the monsters that are coming.
The amount of times Winters says " re-role because im lucky" and roles a two again :')
I just love how Paul just walks around with a pocket full of dice
@Mira culix You are right. I will re-evaluate my life choices this instant!
Paul: "Orcs are people, too"
Rest of galaxy: Ummmm....
Ferrus Manus Headnaught needs to be a thing
According to their Scriptures, the moment the Emperor fell, the psychic shockwave was felt with such intensity that it reached Ferrus, even though he had left the realm of Man. An image of Ferrus appeared before his Legion, and his anguish and despair was unimaginable. It is said that this apparition spoke of his fears for Mankind. He spoke of a great calamity, a darkness that would assail humanity at some unforeseen moment in the future, and his promise that he would be there to lead humanity through its trials of darkness. Amongst the Iron Hands it is taught that he ascended to an unearthly paradise realm where he fights eternally, becoming ever stronger
. And so it is said that Ferrus Manus left the world of Man, preparing for the time when he is required again, that Time of Darkness when his light is needed most of all.
Ferrus Manus returns as a Living Metal Knight confirmed.
Has my boy Say hi Paul lost some weight. Good on ya mate looking good 👍
Paul: You killed 3 Astartes, that's acceptable
Murph: Don't forget the talon!
Paul: That's one of the Astartes
Y'all have the best batreps
The little lights in the building added a lot of flavor to the map. I always love the boards you whip up on this channel, so creative!
as i ork player i sit here screaming 'ramshackle' every time he has to take wounds on the trukks XD
Any advice you can give to someone who wants to start playing 40K for the first time as an Ork?
I'm in awe of this channel but I especially love it when Paul is on; his inclusion of the fluff is so interesting. Great battle report!
sayhipaul should have his own youtube channel where he pretty much explains why his armies are the way they are.
"I don't think I can kil one dreadnought a turn" Holy crap, that IH codex IS strong! ;)
59:00 SayHiPaul being super helpful and excitable with the lucky Ork rerolls makes my day
Paul seems like such a nice guy I can’t even be mad at him for playing Iron Hands...
Why would you be mad at him for playing iron hands?
@@alexchatter692 iron hands is infurating to play against
Paul is amazing at narrative/fluffy play. I'll bet he is a boss at whatever ttrpg he frequents.
Loving SayHiPaul. If he had his own channel for 40k I would love to watch it. He is such a fun character every time.
Probably already know this but he does now it’s called Say Hi Paul and it’s great
I like having these battle reps on in the background while I'm painting. I spent the majority of both turn 1s trying (& finally succeededing) in separating an old Falcon grav-tank that I glued together maybe 7 years ago, to get it ready for a re-base coating & painting.
Anyway I'm happy to be getting back into the painting. Who knows if I even have the right stuff for a proper army list.
"Orks are people too" that's gotta be a t-shirt.
I would love to See Pauls Orks against Murphy's .. to see who's the better proper Ork here!
Yeah.. I wish they would do orks on orks.
Say Hi Paul “however, I’m an idiot!”....brilliant
Laughed so much to this. Guy's a legend.
Winters is back haven’t had a video for a while but it was worth the wait
YEAHHHHH PAUL'S BACK
Hey Paul: I'll try to keep it brief...
*6 hours later*
Ok let's play 😂🤣
I remember the day when Winters SEO was the GO TO AdMech player.
the moment the camera pans to Paul I started smiling. This is gonna be good :)
1:02:03 That command point from Paul was so absolutely S A V A G E Winters didn't even know what hit him. Damn, son!
Say hi Paul went savage with his winters impression 44:14 “command point”
Destruction 100
where Paul walks, i follow
Yes we need more sayhipaul content, he should really make his own channel where its just him getting excited over bits of lore
This is one of my favourite battle reports ever! Keep coming back to it.
LOVE when Paul is playing!! great guy, lots of fun!
Good thing Paul's playing Irom Hands, or else there might be some slight cheese. Like 3 executioners on the top floor of a building, supported by Feirros.
random guy man I’d be so mad having to go up against something like that.
Wouldn't even work now. Took them less than 2 weeks to nerd the army massively.
@@lizgayle14 it was needed. Simple stats from the few tournaments in those few weeks in hands was out showed they were utterly broken. Iron hands still crazy strong.
@@beanspud88 what stats? They didn't even win any tournaments. Ever.
@@FerreusVir Actually they won a GT and jumped way up in placing with a 66.6% win average, averaging 28pts per game, with a spread of 9pts meaning on average when they win, they win by at least 9pts. Also 12 out of 50 top 5 finishes were Iron Hands.
I love winters slow conversion to an ork player. But small correction when talking about the army. "We have quite a bit of daka" is incorrect you can never have enuff Dakka. NEEDS MOR DAKKA
It´s always a special pleasure following a game between winters and HiPaul. I really love when they get lost in their narrative backgrounds for a couple of times, and then come back on the table, with shiny eyes ; )
Love that Iron Hands army, great to see. Great report and very clean camera work.
How many army’s do you have?
Paul:29
I'm curious to know what they all are.
I know of three. death guard, sisters and iron hands
He's also played an Emperor's Children army and a Word Bearers army.
And orks
I think we can safely say. If it's an army in 40k, he has it.
Winters, I must applaud your narrative bit of the desperate citizens singing as the Dreadnaught held the line in the Reliquary, withstanding the onslaught, and grinding forward, relentless, unyielding!
SayHiPaul is an absolute treasure. I hope you have him back as often as possible.
Nice! Glad to see you brought him back, Winters!!!
About to watch this battle report. There was a match up a long while ago between you two where Eadbanger goes off and everyone has a good ol laugh about it. One of the most memorable battle reports I've ever watched. Exceptional job as always guys. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!
Thanks guys. Always love the winters battlefield, makes me very envious. Great chat and narrative as well
This is the first time I have watched a battle report on your channel and I absolutely love the board, keep up the good work
IRON HANDS
I'm so happy our chapter is relevant again thanks to the new supplement
Fin how do you like Iron Hands?
@@ian_lambert-knight After playing them since just after 8th dropped, they have never felt worth running. Just ok, almost mediocre. Now, we have a strong codex and some FAQed cheese that lets us be the strong, merciless chapter we are in the fluff. Masters of machines, and logical tacticians that use any and all means to destroy the enemy. Our rules now represent that properly.
That cool
Thanks to you i bought my first army of salamanders
Great game so far I’ve laughed out loud multiple times already, you and Paul always make great battle reports !
Idk if you will read this paul or winters, but this is the video that convinced me to start both my ork and iron hands armies
Sweet.
Overwhelming fire power. As always with you both a fun narrative battle report.
SayHiPaul is a great addition to the channel - so much energy and good humour 👍🏻 Another outstanding battle report with stunning Armies, terrain and commentary throughout - 3rd time watching this tonight 👍🏻
Winters and SayHiPaul is always a great time.
Paul is brilliant. Any battle report with him is good fun to watch
Great game and LOVED the terrain! Always good to see Paul on the channel :)
Omg Paul!!! I LOOOVE this dude, such awesome matches when Paul's there!
Man gotta love a new winters vid in time to watch over lunch
2 1/2 hour lunch, I want your job!
Winters you bastard, I can't paint without your battle reports in the background! They are the best so I basically don't get any painting done because I end up watching them!!! And Paul is back!!!!!
The fact that SayHiPaul dresses in the colours of his army, whilst his Mjolnir amulet doubles up as something 'Iron Handsy' is glorious.
Cracking army too, probably one of my favourites so far as I systematically go through all the batreps.
I would listen to an hour of paul explaining his army any day of the week
Paul is awesome, thanks for doing this
Paul is the very essence of playing for fun
Paul seems like such a nice bloke. This was a really fun battle to watch, thanks!
Yay ! Paul is a superstar !
And good lord, the paintjob den of imagination does is stunning :o
I love how much paul gets into how the armies would fight, playing the game ringht in my opinion love you guys
I didn’t realize how cool Iron Hands were until this guy talked about them at the start.
Nice narrative touch with the candle lit building!
I like the narrative style of your batreps :)
Its my birthday today and this is an awesome to see my favorite factions have a big old scrap up!
did a bike tour, legs exploding. got a cake and coffee and youtube says winters and paul! awesome sunday on a the couch
This new Iron Hands supplement seems to make the Iron Hands almost god-like. Would love to see more battle reports with them.
Great game. Always brilliant to have Hi Paul on the channel. Cheers for posting gents.
Paul and winters on top form again. My Sunday evening is complete. It's great to see the iron hands in action.
Winters: I'll just put this wound on the cyclone terminator. Paul: No. No you won't.
God I just love Warhammer lore: @ 53:55 "I have a targeting Squig. It makes sense."
Respect to anyone keeping the old lore pre-Raukaan release. Stuff that made me a fan.
Love Paul! Keep bringing him back!
‘The Ironstone’
Sir! The marines have picked up a rock!
I see Paul and Marines, I'm a happy man. I'm a narrative bunny myself so I love watching him play.
Love Paul's enthusiasm, he seems a great guy to game against. Just fun games not massively competitive
SayHiPaul set beautiful L-Shape ambush on you on right flank! Good job Paul! Also, i signed in to Deployment Zone!!
Great episode! SayHiPaul is always a fave.
Paul has a pretty awesome voice, almost like an Orson Welles type
always so much fun with SayHiPaul !!
Got to say Pauls armies are all painted so nicely I get very jealous
'Lets have a cup of tea, and think about things' Words to live by.
The dreadnought executing the warboss made me smile, I do enjoy the reports with SayHiPaul
