@PlokTheMasterGamer flat tires actually give more grip tho, you just don't because it uses more gas. As for loose laces I'd say it's more about the person, and you're jus weak in ur bloodline
You've got to fasten the straps on your helmet or else it won't protect your head in a fall. They're only good for one fall too and it's a lot more likely to use that up falling off your head onto the concrete
This shoe was originally launched in 1995 it was part of the Vans International Collection when Vans closed it's U.S. factories and moved them overseas. The Original Knu Skools were made with a combination of cup sole with eva mid sole called Off the Wall 2 and they were highly accepted by skaters and musicians. They were discountinued around 2001 with a revival and reintroduction in a limited edition of the original model in 2015 by Vans Japan. Then the vulcanized version of the Knu Skool, which is the one you present, hits the market and it's a total bomb! ❤
I love you bro this answered all my questions about the shoe in 60 secs, didn’t have to deal with 20+ mins of bs, straight to the point. Now I know I MIGHT cop but since my skating is getting more intense with gaps and ledges I might not.
I use to have a pair of these back in 98 I think .. I remember when they first came out. Super comfortable shoes.. I wish they’d bring back the Woodstock’s .. those were the best vans back in my younger days
@@pirty-dirty-bops3734 If you wear them without laces they can easily fall off or be pulled off your feet so no you can't wear them without. It's also the same with loose laces they can fall or be pulled off that's what laces are for, to keep the shoes on your feet
@@POV_No_Father alright smartass at least fact check before you spew shit, if you had them you would know that because of the tongue its damn near impossible unless you have duck flippers to wear these laced.
These shoes are supposed to be a reissue of a budget model from 20 years ago. But since Vans is lazy, they didn't bother combining the upper with a lowland cc midsole.
If you rate shoes in the future, I'd love to see you rate their durability. I realize it takes time to fully understand that aspect. Perhaps you could rate durability based on design and any damage noticed during a session. Design things like leather vs. suede, 2 stitch vs 3 stitch, toe cap or not, whatever you could come up with based on exp. That'd be real helpful for me personally man.
For the people talking about the laces, they lace it like this in the store, they did it for mine. The fat tongue won't let your foot come out of the shoe, you're safe.
Less padding gives you more board feel and control. If you aren't skating big gaps or stairs they are certainly better. Even on big gaps and stairs you won't get the cushion bounce that throws your feet off the board on impact.
Those are actually a really old model that they re-released. I'm 40 years old and I used to skate those exclusively when I was in high school becausethey were $20 a pair and that's all we could afford! But they were also super comfortable. I probably went through 7 or 8 pairs. Literally my mother somehow found out they were re-released and told me. I can't believe how much they cost.
Kind of an odd shoe to try since not many people know they make shoes, but why don't you try the Oakley skate shoes they made a slip on and a vans look alike
Those shoes are not for skating what annoys me is even now brands like DC don't even put out proper shoes anymore with proper thick padding for your feet these days if you skate the shoes now you will have collapsed arches in 2 years.
Make sure your front foot is as square as possible with around 3/4 of it on there and being below bolts put your back foot half way to three quarters on tail pop scrap your front foot up whilst bringing your legs up thenwhilst leaning forward whole time
idk how people skate with loose laces my shit gotta be tight af
Facts dude
I don't even know how he can walk like that

Same
It's all about style. It gives shoes the chunky look
You can't Judge an untied shoe. That's a slipper buddy.
i have them and they arent tied but the puffy tongue makes them tight

They look fire
Genuinely look like amazing skate shoes
As of their look, how would you rate them?
@gabrielex3394 I think the sole looks too small, or not proportioned correctly if that makes sense.
@@TrashingTaco i ended up buying them lol and to be fair it is a bit smaller than usual but in the end they’re still amazing

Aetrex inserts
old school vibesss i remember dustin dollin wearing this back in 2005

loose lacing shoes is so hard to skate because your shoe slips off so I just tie my shoe very tight

Could you do a vid on the chron 2’s from Nike?
Try globe fusions next, I’ve been skating them for a week now and barely any wear
It’s funny how some brands are going back to the bigger chunky skate shoe style like the first ever skate shoes were back in the day.
Best shoes i ever skated were the Wray v3 by Adio when they were a thing. Id kill to find a pair in 8 preferably in all white

get the vault version they come with a rounder toe box, ultra cush insole, way more comfortable
