What are you talking about? They're just editing what she's saying. If you stan for her, then good for you. But she's not a martyr here.
It’s not the edit, that’s just how she is.
First, I'll fully admit. I'm not a Gia Stan. I do love her and her art, but I'm far from a stan... but you have to see that the editing is clearly pointing to make her the Villain of the season. Yes, she says shading things and says what a lot of us are thinking... but she's not just coming into the confessionals and spewing it out randomly. They film those at the end of the day or after said episode is done filming (can't remember which at the moment). She's literally responding to producers questions about the day. Meaning, that they could talk for an hour and just take those 10/15 second clips and put them wherever they want. And the talent show is the biggest tell of the season! Look at the clips of Gia being shady... The smile at Farrah's falling or saying she was so bored during Valentina's number. Nothing adds up with where the Queen's are sitting. The editors can take whichever Queen they want to make them likeable or the villain.
But where is the lie though?
Gia is giving me EVERYTHING I need right now. Wasn't a fan in S6, but in AS4 she is serving!! YAS!
She's being a hypocrite, though. "Beauty isn't a talent." Well Gia's only talent IS being beautiful. She's a very mediocre drag queen.

KarlEuro89 it’s interesting you feel that way. i don’t think it’s great because of the cultural aspects, i was just very entertained and thought it was unique and interesting, much like manila’s (whose i felt should have been top). i don’t think it’s fair to say that people only like it because it’s “ethnic.” i think people liked it because as a whole a lot of the talent show was pretty blah but (for me at least) gia’s was entertaining and something i haven’t seen before

you know what i love about Gia, she came to play a role and that's what she's doing. She's the 'villain' by choice not by edit. She's not being a villain by picking fights and being a messy ass queen *cough cough the vixen, she's doing it by being brutally honest which is something the show has been lacking in the past few seasons; an honest queen who tells it as it is regardless of how it might be perceived. She's bringing the drama yes, but she's also bringing back the realness of the first few seasons of drag race.
