I really dislike this idea of 3 state Champs at each weight. You can't really call yourself a true "state" champ. They should take the top 4 or 6 from each division and put them together in a true state championship meet.
it'd be fun to have the state champs wrestle eachother. There is 3 classes so the small schools have a chance to win a team title. and also more wrestlers in the tournament, more money for IAHSAA. Heck there are 24 guys in each bracket now. 1008 kids compete at this tournament
Or just do what California does, one division y’know? None of this class nonsense

This system hurts the state of Iowa. They should make all these kids compete with each other for a true state championship. It would improve their development and recruiting better than it already is
