I remember one time he punched I think this annoying zombie God named Geralt to space with one upper cut.
The other problem ( in my opinion) is that they “nerfed” the power of Mjollnir also. In Norse mythology it is ine of the most powerful weapons around... if not the most powerful. The enemies of Asgard feared the hammer. Marvel has made it now that any human or mutant with a force field can stop it.
And Hela breaking the hammer in Thor Ragnorak, to me, was just plain stupid.

Ive always loved thors hammerless feats. Mjolnir is his trademark and he should never be without it...but oftentimes I also find that writers rely too much on it. Every panel doesnt need to show thor swinging that thing. Hes an immortal god of thunder with half a million years of experience in the art of combat - hammer or not, the guy can throw hands!
Its also disappointing to when he does swing it it seems to be less impactful than it should be. Personally I think Thor should only use his hammer when he gets serious not all the time.

This was and will always be my favorite Thor arc...This was packing a lot of emotion aside from Thor's magnificent display of his powers without the hammer.....Thank You Dan Jurgens for the Reigning and Thank You Andrea Di Vito, Daniel Berman, and Michael Avon Oeming for Thor Disassembled :)
Sometimes you have to remind them what the title God means.
Means nothing really ... plenty of gods out there , that are not on thors level.. and plenty of heroes and mutants who surpass some of them.. honestly the titles god should only represent 1 thing and it should be true immortality and that's all.. like even if the body dies they just come back through some process. But in terms of power , that varys way too much to mean anything. Like hulk and sentry are already higher than some gods.

All I can say is you need to look at the larger society, and give the comics a break. You can start by researching the history of comics employed as a tool of propaganda, and how they've never truly been counter-cultural (in the sense of a Martin Luther King, who had misgivings about integration, because America was [& is] a burning house, while "heroes" like Batman deride criminality and defend a system that's inherently criminal with a miniscule number of people who have 80% of the wealth, but still want more and feed off of the indigent and the "middle class"), among many other things. I view sites like these, partly for escapism, but once one discovers what he is truly in, there is no total escape.

This is the Best comic of Thor, Ragnarok, the last and true one, was the zenith of stories of the characters from the comic that we have reading from years, all having a horonable end and showing us the best version of Thor, the fusion of power (Odín force) and wisdom (the runes).

Say what you will about the MCU, it did give me my favorite version of Loki. If only that. I wish Disney didn't muck up Artemis Fowl so badly. Otherwise I'd have a similar feeling for Artemis. But no they had to muck it up royally.

They made two movies trying to push that kind of character. None of them worked.
This was one of the best arcs ever written. This story was a true Viking/Aesir story. This was something that even Robert E. Howard would have been proud of.

Hey Fernando, you should do a tier list on marvel’s heavy hitters like thor, sentry, blue marvel, hulk, gladiator, hyperion, Hercules, apollo, captain marvel, colossus, the thing, luke cage etc.
Marvel has done it.
*Level 8* Thor, Sentry, Blue Marvel.
*Level 7* Hulk, Gladiator, Hyperion, Hercules.
*Level 6* Colossus, Luke Cage.
*Level 5* Thing, Ms.Marvel(Captain Marvel).

@@alissa6 Maybe you were just typing fast but Carol Danvers AKA Captain marvel is not under Luke Cage Colossus or the thing in terms of their actual tier...(I'm not going to start looking up their tiers but Colossus is likely a City or even mountain level threat, where the thing it's much higher having a large planet striking class and durability, and Luke Cage is obviously wayyy lower than those 3 and has building level destructive capabilities. Yet Carol Danvers is a large planet level threat. In her binary form she can even reach solar system level attack potency. and I'm going by the comics here and nothing to do with the MCU or Warner Brothers movies. And I'm sure you are aware the lowest number is 11c but if we're going to start at an actual person than we would start at Below average human (10c} all the way to an outerversal being(1A) like pre retcon beyonderor or even Boundless (0) like TOAA. And if you're not going to let Fernando answer the guy who's asking him to do a tier list, instead of just saying marvel has done it, maybe you can give a link to Reiko. There are tons of different tiering lists. And a lot of them vary depending on who's made the list. I would suggest to wiki fandom marvel character levels. You can type in any character you want and it'll give you a detailed description of their striking strength, durability, speed, lifting strength, etc etc etc and give you the tier of each of their powers and or weaknesses. Here is a link to the beyonders tier page on wiki fandom. It starts by saying 4B to low 1A. That likely means that if it's just one of the beyonders then they will have a 4B level of power. But if it's numerous beyonders then they can be low 1 A which is beyond multiversal and complex multiversal and hyperversal... It means they're low outerversal threats. You might already know all of this and I might be writing all this for nothing and including these links for nothing but in case you don't know how they determine which character is capable of what, then I'm also going to include a second link that tells you what each tier does. So the first link is just an example of the beyonders and what tier level they are and what their powers and abilities are in terms of character tiering system. The second link is going to actually be the tiering system and explain each tier. Again you might know all this and be way more familiar with it then I am... In that case my apologies.

This comic was amazing. Prior to this Thor admitted Durok's strength exceeded his, acting like a Kurse level being against Thor, to the point where he couldn't out-strength him and only tripped him with a hit from Mjolner. Here? He stops limiting his physical, elemental and innate powers by relying on Mjolner, stalemates him in a grappling contest and then kills him instantly. What a display for Thor. Truly, he has no limit.

So this is how powerful he would be, now I am disapointed on how they portrey him near Captain "nirvana" and how "strong" she is and how dumb he is compared to her or whoever she was (don't make me remember her).

A true OG moment!
I remember when Durok first appeared. He was unstoppable and almost killed Thor. Balder summoned the Silver Surfer and begged him to save Thor. The Surfer took over the battle against Durok and defeated him by dragging him into the far future and leaving him there. Also, for a while, the idea of Mjolnir was that the hammer channeled the power that was within Thor, not that it had power of its own.

I would have liked the fight to be a bit more physical, show the struggle, the fierceness, the true Thunder and Lightning of Thor going all out. Show him angry, show his pain at the losses inflicted. The Odinson is more than just a title. All of Odin's children are more powerful than the average Asgardian god. When you remember that his mother is Gaea, Elder goddess and mother of many powerful gods and Titans like Cronus, you start to understand his true potential. He has to mature into full adulthood, and develop his powers to get the most of him. And making him too powerful would obviously complicate his storylines. They can be done, just more carefully. But even at his current age, and without the Odinforce, he's no joke. In the top tier characters that usually can keep a title.This was what I loved. Thor realizing that he has power in himself, independent of Mjlonir. And in tapping that power, he beat an enemy that gave him trouble when he had it.

This is the frustrating inconsistency of Thor writing. This is how he should be written. He can fight cosmic beings and take shots from celestials and then go to The Bronx and get slapped upside the head by the wrecking crew. There are literally only a hand few of earth bound heroes who'd last a minute against this Thor.
