I just saw Mark in Poor Things. Freaking hilarious.
His arc in that movie is so funny, everyone in Poor Things gave their all.
Mark Ruffalo clearly shows no signs of slowing down with his role in the MCU, having also commented on the prospects of Avengers: Secret Wars during this same interview. But while the odds of seeing a World War Hulk film made are higher now than they've been in more than a decade, it's difficult to predict if it will actually go into development under Marvel Studios.
They need to do a Hulk movie. But I do think they need to talk about it... Whatever is happening. If it's happening then get the hype started right away.
If it's not happening then don't leave us hanging on...
It's not a nice thing to do... I think Hulk is somewhere in the top 5 Marvel characters, so for him not to have a solo movie is insane...
But also he's been in the MCU as long as iron Man. People forget he started at the same time as iron Man, and he's been such an important player in the MCU. He smashed Avengers 2012.
It's an interesting story, and it's one of those stories that is very strange... It's always going to be a topic...
The character needs a solo movie. Whatever happens doesn't matter he just needs to have one.
But I do think a Captain America civil war type is a great option for Hulk. People say how do you make a Hulk movie? Well make it like civil war. World war Hulk would be like that. World war Hulk is kind of a sequel to civil war in the comics.
World war Hulk is a sequel to both planet Hulk and civil war. It's basically combined from both series. So it kind of makes sense.
It could be a phase 6 film, there's a few empty slates after the Fantastic Four.

Adapt the Savage Hulk in a multiverse story. He goes through different wormholes and fight other versions of himself like Joe Fixit, Kluh, and finally the Maestro comic story that has old man Rick Jones and the Dogs of War in it.

@@JamesHowlett-qy3yq universal does own the rights however the distribution rights for The Incredible Hulk movie has revert back to Marvel in June of 2023. While Marvel Studios has always been able to develop MCU projects involving Bruce Banner's Hulk, Universal has first refusal for any projects. This means they'd get a larger chunk of the profits if Marvel were to produce any sequels to The Incredible Hulk or solo projects with Banner as the lead.
"Universal Studios has agreed to distribute Marvel’s film The Incredible Hulk and sequels on essentially the same terms as those on which Paramount has agreed to distribute the other films financed and produced under the film facility."

If they do a WW Hulk movie, Marvel Studios could redeem what they've done with Professor Hulk, by having Hulk Hulk-out. Hulk's Hulk would allow them to adapt the WWH storyline and have him fighting other heroes. Hell, it could even be used as a plot for setting up Secret Wars merging worlds together. They could kill off characters that fans dont like and bring back ones that died (with new actors, or returning)
If they recast Tony Stark, they should make it so that he never married Pepper and Morgan doesn't exist. (That way the Tony from the original timeline gets a true ending)

Need World War Hulk to be more Horror-Thriller. Keep Smart Hulk, but introduce an original Hulk villain that can truly challenge him
They've been baby stepping through Banner and Green Hulk developing a relationship, and Green Hulk's cognitive ability and identity, while Bruce built the bridge between Bruce's intellect and Hulk's body.
Bruce is controlling Green Hulk, and if Green Hulk scratches his way back to the surface and the rage rhat brought him out comes into agreement with Bruce....thats a World Breaker.
They've been setting it up the entire time, but idiots that are MOST HULK FANS that KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE CHARACTERS, they think the MCU ruined Hulk.

They need to stick with the source material as close as they can and it will be an instant UNDENIABLE hit at the box office.
