He never wanted to turn into the hulk but even if he didn't want him, he kinda needs him
That's their relationship. Banner needs Hulk to survive and if it wasn't for him he would've been dead numerous times. I always love when they explore the relationship between these two characters who shares a body.
Banner did once want to die, hulk needs banner to stay alive, cause if banner dies hulk dies.

In the 2003 game there's a scene where Banner gets cured by the Leader, but he realizes he needs Hulk to stop the Leader, so he decides to return being Hulk telling him "This isn't your power, it's my curse and I'm taking it back"

@ludicrous7551 well, no movie has done the "Saving Rick Jones" origin. They're usually taking off the TV series and has the origin where Bruce is experimenting on himself and it goes wrong. Except in 2003 when he was exposed while trying to save Harper. Still not a Gamma Bomb though 😄
Hulk needs a new movie. Let him do his own thing apart from the Avengers. He can go into the future and fight Maestro or even begin to transition into Immortal Hulk, adding grotesque horror elements to The Hulk once again
