I been shore dive coromandal 2021 January. Good visibility, can see 7meter depth clearly from the top. Warm water in January. When I returning back to the shore with my fish bag 5meter behind me, a shark bited my fish bag away. Few days later, a girl died from shark attack at pauanui Beach.
Man that's really sad to hear..yea always alot of sharks down Coro especially in the summer time when water warms a little Got to be careful when spear fishing esp if your catch bag is still in the water..stay safe out there bro I encountered a atleast 3.5m bronzey around Christmas time scared the shit outta me came out of nowhere lol but yea stay safe bro always good to have a dive buddy I usually do solo missions but yea dive buddy is always good

We all learn by trying mate . Good effort .

Where exactly is this?? I just want those kinas 😂
Army Bay, Silverdale, Auckland. as long as you are far from Auckland, there are more fish and wild lives.
That's a nice sound brother
sound of the nature. no background music😀
Crack and pop sound mate you its the sound of crays buddie.
what camera are you using?
gopro 9. superview. 10%crop stabilisation
My friend works for fisheries this info will be passed on for sure. Poor selecting a fish and loaded gun floating around.
where did you get that propeller from mate?
I got it from a local company few years ago. But now only available in aliexpress.com. Google "swim propeller "
Cheers mate thankyou
@@tongansotia94 go to Auckland Scuba dive, 49b Arrenway Drive, Rosedale, Auckland 0629
collect those kinas and smash them, give it half an hour to an hour you will soon find fish drawn in to feed.
I just smashed 6 or 8 each time, only give it 5 minutes. I think half or an hour will be too long for them to feed.
This is so sad. Kina barren with just a few undersized fish and very little diversity. Used to dive here 30 years ago, was completely different
The population of Auckland is growing fast. More people consume the environment.
Learner don't dive alone and yes deeper water bigger fish?lol
For me, dive alone more comfortable. 5 to 10 meter is enough to get big fish.
Your not deep enough bro obviously still learning but yea maybe go a couple more metres deeper that's where the bigger fish are lol
I know it is shallow. Deeper always bigger. When go boat rod fishing, normally hooked from 12m to 40m deep.
But big snappers do park in weed depth sometimes. And with baits, they do come up.
