    ❤ Although this is a quick version of the previous video that I watched, I still enjoyed it very much and wanted to leave a comment to apeese the CZcams algorithums. 🎶 Your voice is so soft and calming and it is a pleasure to hear. 😊

    been using similar techniques for a project of mine but using laminated foam core because it's very easy to work with and cutting down the center of the piece then using an exacto knife and a toothpick to carve my stone bricks from I roll over the panel with a ball of aluminum foil and then paint black and add grey overtop. it saves so much time

    I really loved the effect you got with the shape and color of the stone! It took me back to my youth and the years I lived in France. Thank you!!!😊🇺🇲

    Great idea. I bought a plastic dollhouse thinking it was wood and I don’t really like it. I never thought of covering it to make it look like a stone building. It looks fabulous. What did you do for the roof. Great job. Thanks for sharing. Will have to check out your playlist. Cheers Robyn❤😊

    Unreal thanku so much, im doing a medieval dining hall and have had to completely remove the first attempt.
    I can see that trying to do it with a layer of spackle and drawing large limestones into it didn't work although a good method when done properly lol. I didn't.. looked like a 5yr old had done it lol. Stones were far too big and the morter gaps too big..sigh.
    That's what u get for trying to cut corners and speed up the process. Cant say im looking forward to the egg carton process, I have done it before, but the effect is so beautiful and to scale, that hard work pays off lol.
    Back to the drawing board lol, doing it right the first time same u in the end 😅
    Thanks again, love your tutorials

      Good luck with it all. I believe you can use polysterene too if you have thin sheets you can make up a little stone template press into the polysterene for a impressed 3d stone effect then paint over. Could be a quicker way of going about it.

    Thank you so much for this! It seems so much cheaper and easier than anything I could think of and I'm planning to do it to one of my Sylvanian houses. I was wondering how well the glue has held up so far?

    • @TasminBassettArt
      @TasminBassettArt  Před 6 měsíci

      Glue has held up great. Along the edges of the house a few pieces have broken off but that's cause I slide it around alot while working on it. But an easy fix. Any points of contact with surfaces just get extra gluey and it'll work great. Good luck

      I bet it would stick better if you give the plastic a good sanding. If glueing on plastic like her.
