A brilliant summary of the process! Love the new VR aspect to this.
I had been thinking of this. Finally I see someone make it. Google Glass was ahead of its time
Amazing!! You really are at the frontier of DIY AR technology.
Keep it up, love to see more :D
for real, i havent seen any other youtube channel with this much progress and tech
Thanks! I’m trying to do my best 🙂
Been watching ur projects develop and I gotta say I'm always impressed by their potential. I'd love to see a dual eye steamvr ar setup. Kinda view ur vr content as a hologram. Keep up the awesome work
Thanks! Dual display is very much possible. I just have one display at home. I would totally use two if I’ve had them
This music makes me feel like I am in a scifi noir movie, I really like it. If anyone has the genre I would really appreciate the name. Also, I'd recommend making or buying a fume extractor for the soldering assuming there isn't already one off screen. Your cover for the driver board might benefit from being printed so that the large face is the face that touches flat against the build plate, but that might not fit with your design aesthetic, its up to you. By the way, I really like the step by step format you used to present this info to us, it makes things very accessible to beginners. also, if it makes you feel any better, your height is slightly above average where I come from.
"Steam VR" a surprise for sure, but a welcome one
I think it's a bit of a shame. OpenVR is a Valve project, but I've yet to see anyone make use of it outside the context of Steam.
Crazy cool! And i see bambu lab, nice printers! keep doing it!
I honestly can't believe that you bent the PLA back into place at 1:27 so easily. Clearly I need to discard some of my preconceptions about PLA and observe its properties for myself
@ZackFreedman seems right up your alley [voidstar labs]
You really handled that razor blade like it was no one’s business 😅 1:16
Standard potato peeling knife action.
@@headerahelix yep, i handle same way, and i think few million people in world too)
Wow. I really like your talent!
Theses glasses looks very clean, congrats
looks good man
Thanks!
😍😍
Love this side loader design
Keep up the good work!
This looks amazing, definitely subscribed to follow the process. I have already designed a clip to mount things to my real glasses, I wonder if I could adapt your design to clip straight to them.
Also, please look into your microphone. Tje quality is alright, but the stuttering and choppy audio in some places is really distracting to listen to.
Very interesting and high quality, thank you!
u did great well freakin done
Subbed great tutorial
this is amazing man, i've been working on a project involving AR too, but mine is way easier than yours... I can make the project but i decided not to.. but this was inspiring!
Amazing work
That's neat, I like!
You should sell these
I sell kits on my Etsy
@@ManolloMancelli k
laggy/choppy mic quality but good video
Yeah. I’ve used different editing software than usually
great video as always and im loving the progress! btw at around 6:07 your recorded voice is bugging a bit
Yeah. That’s what I get for using anything other than Vegas 🙄
Any plans to sell this fully assembled?
I’d love to but I don’t have any money right now to buy stock
What are you gonna do about the controllers?
How much did the entire build cost?
Which screen and magnifier glass are you using?

very cool
it's a reflective display? no issues with the image being mirrored?
SteamVR flips it back to normal

@@ManolloMancellicould you kindly provide the name? The product isn't available in my country and aliexpress is being dumb and not showing me the product because of that...

@@ManolloMancellithanks a lot
@@Argoshhad that problem aswell, you can use tor, works most of the time
Brilliant fix for mike clipping: Foreground Music!
:D
Looks very interesting, but please.. next time just record the audio.
I turned it off because the messed up voice over got so annoying and confusing.
True the background music is not a good thing
@@varshneydevansh perfect music, so we can attend your laboratory during operation.
it doest have battery? and it needs to be connected to pc nearby? is it really worth it?
I like your videos but I stopped to watch them because of your fking forced subtitles.....
I already fight against CZcams subtitles.. And you add it forced...
I’d highly suggest just repinning wire the right length. Then you can avoid that soldering in the middle.
Yeah. Thats way better than soldering little wire pieces
@@ManolloMancelliHow do you make it so it has two displays? Do you just purchase two? Will the arduino code parse both of them, or the HDMI? Will they be offset like traditional VR?
