I've heard about Osamu Dazai before it's truly a tragic story. Humans are so broken and no one can truly understand someone else entirely, and it's just scary tbh. also great video again bro your lowkey inspirational. people think that you can't be influenced by small channels but you can, it's easy to tell that you put a lot of effort in and it does help like in my case since I make videos on anime/manga I can view points that make your videos better and try to take some of those points for myself.

reading about the sexual abuse yozo went through as a child broke my heart. maybe he was genetically predisposed to depression or alcoholism, but i believe that the assault and untreated trauma was always the root of all his lifelong isolation and feelings of hopelessness :(
the distrust and inability to understand others, the feeling of being unable to control his own life, the crippling fear of refusing what is given to him and upsetting others… a lot of survivors experience the same thing. It’s so sad that he never got help.

That's exactly what alcoholism feels like. A chronic emptiness that is insatiable and a mental state which separates you from the rest of humanity. All I can say is that the book was relatable. It doesn't seemed like 'SAD' to me, the emotion I felt was more close to comfort. I constantly, myself endulge in despair and my eyes seem to see nothing but despair yet I can't say it. Being clouded by emotions and desiring death...it all just seemed so familiar and the weight in my heart just seemed to lighten for the time I read through the book. Didn't even feel the time pass by, truly a work of art indeed and I love the way you presented it. Thanks

I'm just saying there was something there that touched a part of me. I had intrusive thoughts similar to his narration much before. The more I lived, I more I felt like I was different from a normal human being. When I speak of despair, what I mean is my feeling of watching this world from behind a screen. Nothing that happened around me, all the love and hate and everything that was expressed or kept hidden, seemed worthless and I was scared. Terribly scared by everyone. I just happened to find these emotions relating but I wouldn't say I'm like him. Even with my pitiful self, I've firmly decided to keep living and face a natural death, atleast till I go insane. He chose to die by his own choice

Not out of narcissism but its a genuine confusion and depression.. Nihilism and suicide according to me kinda are interlinked.. and yes suicidal thoughts develop slowly its not like you snap into it... or out of it.. it stays with you.. but it also makes you not care about materilistic world.. thats the only positive of this spiral of thought.
