    Not dissing the video at all because you're giving guidance on how to fully disassemble the laptop, but just a heads-up for anyone who may only be replacing their HDD.
    You only need to undo the screw and the battery cable (the thicker black cable and connector) after removing the keyboard, before removing the base. The other two ribbon cables can be left connected.

      if it is built into the motherboard but that's why one slot is free you need to upgrade to the already existing frame you have, it is important to find a RAM board that is compatible with the motherboard and the RAM memory that is already fixed to the motherboard
