DAUPHINE SWAP FJ 1200

petite vidéo du projet dauphine adri's custom , il s'agit du renault dauphine 1964 export boite auto jaeger à l'origine , elle est désormais swapé en fj 1200 cc yamaha , niveau partie chassis , elle est équipée de frein à disque du fj 1200 avec étrier 4 pistons , de jantes porsche replica en 4.5 et 9 pouces de larges par 15 de diamètre

I hate seeing a Dauphine that has been so botched like this one. Looks like it has been abused for a long time. Lowered, and what is with those wheels? certainly not original, although they should fit on a modern wheel balancer. The exhaust is not standard, and it sounds limp if it is a Gordini engine. I assume the 6volt electrics have all been upgraded. Fond memories of my one, and the 4CV before it.

Agreed, I’m building a 58 and I’m about halfway through stuffing a 87 Fiero power train in it. The whole cradle fits tightly but it’s requiring me to push the sheet metal that is behind the rear seats forward about 3 inches for clearance and keeping the wheelbase about the same length. I’ve had this vision for years it’s just been finding a great donor 5 speed formula Fiero that was hard to get. These cars are awesome and extremely light.
