I will never complain about the waters here being cold ever again.
Right???
Omg right!!
I know cause if it wasn’t it would have been way worse for us. But we needed this water im happy it didn’t get to 110 in San Bernardino County lol.
You can tell that Abby and Brian really wanted to have more to report on than some light rain and wind.
brunt of the storm?? I am still waiting for it to happen
Thanks. Better safe than sorry.
You're a good person, there's no doubt about it.
I've been through Fran & Floyd, both times I was inland, and it was scary. Y'all are really lucky you're getting "a little rain".
I imagine the rain is a blessing if it doesn't cause damaging floods. Stay safe friends!
I drowned 😢
@@alejandrososa3168 Then how the fuck did you type.
Many roads washed out, or badly damaged, especially in Palm Springs area.
🗣Repent Israelites all praise to the most high YAHAWAH AND HIS SON YAHAWASHI🤴🏽🛸🦁👑
The so called black man, Latino, and Native Americans are the Israelites. Yahawah chosen people. That are scattered in all nations through our fathers. Making them Israelite foreigners/Scattered sheep/The multitude.
Yahawashi speaking: Matthew 15:24
“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Deuteronomy 7:6 “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”
Deuteronomy 32:39 “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.”
Nahum 1:3
“The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
Quit saying stay safe like bro it's light rain wtf I wish I could bully you on here man you need it to man up.
Wow, the media and government blowing something way out of proportion, SHOCKER! 🙄
Yah... now they say... but, still stay home stay safe... don't drive in the rain... you'll get wet! Ffs😅🤦♂️
It's better to blow it out of proportion than to downplay it
Yes of course because the government has a crystal ball to know exactly what would happen and they only wanted to mess with us. 🤦♂️. But if turns out to be worst than estimated then they are incompetent.
@@Wildman8849 Exactly, this could of been ABSOLUTELY worst, overpreparing yourself is good.
Still better than to treat it like a non threat when something bad does happen, I'm grateful myself
This was such a news play. Absolutely nothing happened, yet days of drama leading up. This was a fraction of what we got during the winter storms earlier this year.
Facts. So ridiculous
it’s not over yet
They really know how to get the ratings up...
You knew that days ago, that's amazing.
OH MY GOD!!OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
DEAR-OH-DEAR!!OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
AND an earthquake!!! How tremendously EXCITING!!!!!!! needed to be bigger, darn it!!
Brought to you by Pfizer....
Better to be over-cautious than let people get into an unsafe situation like driving in a flooded area. So glad for California, that it is not as bad as it could have been.
You can be cautious and stay home if you wish. That is your responsibility. No one should be forcing you to do anything.
This is a joke. And I am from the northeast, no where close to Florida.
It's better to be over prepared than not my area only had light rain 🌧️ at midnight and now just normal 🌧️. It'll stop by midnight. We are very lucky to not have major damage. People out there shopping at fashion valley are crazy, nothing is worth the risk. My Walmart last night only had normal crowds, not too crazy
True
I'm in Florida. Y'all in California are so fortunate that the Pacific waters are cooler than the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. It could've been a whole lot worse. Don't sleep on the rains coming down from the mountains and flooding the lower-lying areas. After a tropical system passes through, the waterways still continue to rise before they crest and go back down. That's what happened a lot of places here for Hurricane Ian last year.
@@juegomaestro11 I was out a few times today no issues was hyped up now it's going to be gone by tomorrow atleast didn't have to water the grass 😂
It was VERY SCARY here in Yucaipa, crazy strong winds, with gusts that I really thought were going to blow in my front living room windows, truly, im surprised they are still intact! Many times the house was making a howling sound from the wind. Im 64, lifelong Southern California native, I've never been in such a scary storm!!
Typical reporting by these newscasters in L.A. It shows how little sense they have. Instead of reporting from the areas that are truly experiencing damaging winds and flooded areas, we get this. Where's the STORM CHASERS?!!
Laura, just so you know, these newspeople are not in LA - a good 70 miles south in San Diego...
The rain is definitely needed...but the storm didn't live up to the hype that was built up.
i knew my dad was stupid he wasted 10,000 dollars, on generatos fuel food water , solar panels. and even guns cus he said "shit is gonna hit the fan what a freinking idiot and all night he was putting up sandbags. ahah my mom and sisters have been making fun of him the whole day now he is in the backyard i think crying and being sad. hahahaha
They cry wolf 9 out of 10 times. When it’s real, no one is ready because of all the previous ratings grabbing lies.
@@amandaburleson2035sounds like your a prick. Your dad is doing the best he can to protect his family from worst case scenario and your all just being useless and mocking him. @@amandaburleson2035 He just wanted to make sure his family was safe. Be glad he cares, and be thankful it wasnt as bad as they were predicting.
@@amandaburleson2035 what a good son.
I’m tired of the news people making this seem so much worse than what it really is.
You and me both, it's just a thunderstorm!
Thank God because it could've be worse. It digressed to category 1 when it could've stayed at a category 4, so to God be the glory! Pray for mexico🙏🏼❤
Has nothing to do with that, all storms weaken as they move inland..common sense
@@Mikejones-bp8ze it's nothing wrong with being thankful to our Creator......especially the damage that could've happened.
It's not a hurricane, it's a tropical storm
You can't get that thru the ignorant. It's a funel cloud . We have had them before. Dear God thoses reporters are idiots.
We will take all the water we can get. Thank you mother nature.
And it was always going to be a tropical storm. Ever since thursday, when the weather trackers started seeing it turn into a hurricane, they knew it was going to be a tropical storm by the time it made it up here. But everybody just saw the word hurricane and ran with it
Tropical Storm 🌀 just left me with Blue balls
They know how to fix that these days.
The rain is still vertical. When it's horizontal, you've got a problem.
We're most likely close to the end of the downpour here in Orange. Haven't seen this hard of wind and rain in several years but we can use the water. Tall skinny palm trees were swaying very scarily.
yesbut heavy vertical rain can be a problem
We have a cute lil drizzle in vegas. The media is really making it more than it is.
In Del Mar. Some steady rain. Bit of humidity. No big deal.
Stay safe and much love from Florida
Can't wait to see the desert flowers blooming afterwards!!❤
East san diego . I noticed humming birds playing in the wind. Even the babies.
Here too. We had tons of hummingbirds at our feeders. They were loving the weather.
We had almost no wind and very little rain in Alpine
Omg how did she do that report with a straight face 😅
She's a card
I’ve gotten more moisture from mist hitting me while standing at theme park lines on a hot summer.

Sure am glad the governor issued a state of emergency, otherwise there would not be enough paper towels to clean up the mess.
he's probably gonna announce his run for president after this. gotta start on a good foot. that's the only reason I can see why they did all the theatrics. and climate alarmism as always.
Little sprinkles, my god, the humanity!

No tf it’s not. It’s a light shower and wind
Yes it is!
@@ernestomcgrew8246 Your idea of a light shower is very different from mine.
gentle breeze in the background but the camera is shaking the it's 50pmh winds. The media has way overhyped this storm.
It was a pleasant lil storm. Thankful for the needed rain
Nothing to see here. I'm in SD. Regular rain like we had in January next to no wind. For those who are interested in the truth.
I'm from the USVI and Florida. That was so underwhelming. I still enjoyed the rain.
here is south oc it was nothing..just a normal rain scenario...
Better safes as nots ,as you're live & kicking s
The media is disappointed with the underwhelming storm but it is great for all the people in the path of the storm that they weren't badly impacted.
Florida gets this weather almost daily!!
yeah but its rare in socal.
Sounds awful then
That was the mildest "storm"... not even a storm.... ive been in. And im in east county. Barely a gust of wind... and light rain.
the effects varied based on location. some areas saw more significant issues.
OMG! look at the live view at Ramona. Some crazy storm 🙄. Wow I bet the East Coast is laughing at us
lol, it rained in so cal and that is a major event!!!
I secretly get disappointed when approaching storm systems lose their strength.
Have you ever lost your roof?
@@archstanton_live Thats probably why a lot of socal natives don't take weather seriously. It's never been a problem
I also secretly get disappointed when my and other people's houses, property, pets, and possessions aren't at risk anymore.
Prayers to all those who were affected by the storm california, mexico, florida. ect. I pray the Lord supply your every need.🙏🏼❤
Pray for Nevada people..

Here in the East County of San Diego, this was the type of storm we would expect in the winter. Very light rain during most of the day with no wind, then a couple of 30-40 minute dumps with a bit of wind. I was out on the patio BBQing during the brunt.
the Doom and Gloom hype is getting very bothersome..I get more rain here in a week than that storm will give Ca. in a month.
The rain went right to the deserts 🏜 and reservoirs where we needed it 😊
Good news there
Good for the mountains & lakes. Everything needs water to reduce fire hazards.
That was as underwhelming as a drone show that replaced the fireworks
Im located in the mojave. It rained all day, so calm and peaceful at home. The winds are now just picking up. I’ve seen a lot of local postings though and there were lots of roads flooded intermittently throughout the desert.
in all reality, California needed the water.
Its passed already? That was so tame, this is the last time I ever listen to weather people.
Luckily the storm shifted east away from the coast.
Better safe than sorry. Be thankful it wasn’t that bad
Good...but try and think of the people who have been kept safe by the " weather people" as in Sandy and Ian etc..
Everyone at Costco & Walmart buying all the water and toilet paper for nothing😂
feel the same.
There’s too much hype about this storm. I live in San Diego and this was called a drizzle in Missouri. You so cal must see how Missouri down pour is and we call Rain🤣😅
Remember it was a category 4. To God be the glory 🙏🏼
When I wanted to know how bad it might be getting, I checked the live cams. Constant coverage of the same thing wasn't required.
I remember lighting from tv antennas almost hit several times and stay out of mission valley
Its just a normal raining day, they over exagerated, last tear we had worst storm
At least we’re getting some rain. Not enough to get us out of a drought, but it’s better than nothing.
This afternoon we had flooding on 70th Street and Alvarado, don't know if the flood waters had subside since.
There was so much water, pine needles were left in the street...
All I had was light rain and little to no wind what a joke

I live in Ohio what I see is puddles in the road. News caster see lakes to make people tune in to their story. Southern CA need this light rain to help end the drought.
This rain is nothing. LA is canceling school for no reason. News focus on rivers and call it flooding. It's ridiculous. They are gas lighting is!
But, people in California aren't used to rain. They don't know how to drive in it.
@@catherinewilliams9680 this is true. However, the winter rains were much worse. This storm is boring 😴

Looks like im returning all my water and toilet paper to Costco tommorrow. Lame!
I’m from the East coast- That ain’t no damn Hurricane! That’s a rain storm! 😂
For real tho- glad they got rain, maybe it’ll help prevent some wildfires 🙏🏽

Was still waiting for rain in Phoenix. Still haven’t seen one damn drop here.
I heard someone's sprinkler head broke in mission valley flooded it
i bet the washes out in Acton/Aqua Dulce are gunna be pop'n - just regular rain and they flood. the Desert is taking a big drink tonight!
This has become a “Chicken Little” event!
The sky is not falling!
An over abundance of caution ⚠️ as a result of how poorly they handled those 🔥 fires in Hawaii.
No,just reading the models..
They should have raked the forest!
I don't feel comfortable coming into work tomorrow with this horrible storm, wait, make that all week.

All the hoopla about a rainy day😨
Why it seem like we got more rain in Vegas then y’all 😂
Most of the heavy rain was sent east for some reason according to weather radar

This is what its like to live in Florida. The news does this every year.
The best of this report was the guy in Mission Valley confirming shoppers at Fashion Valley
Why does she sound disappointed?
The shaking camera was not necessary 😂
Omg a puddle
Looks more like a summer monsoon from Mexico, NOT A HURRICANE!
Remember...most of this rain is going straight back to the sea...
thank Newsom and his 'irrigation'
And where is all the land for reservoirs supposed to come from? They're just supposed to take it from farmers? Imagine how much you people would scream if they tried to do that
Well. No forest fires right!! Praise the Lord!!
My neighbor's tree fell over in my trash can got taken away from the wind

From sd but im out in palm springs now, we didnt get no brunt of nothing. We got usual winds, usual flooding, but ppl are still partying. Storm was a dud. The 2018 storm was way bigger.
The majority of accidents happen during cleanup.
I bet another huge amount of dirt and rock has fallen down at Blacks Beach again in that same area. Hope no one is there right now, and are safe away from the area.
Did the storm put out this week's fire?
I'm glad no damage was done and everything, and to be fair there was a storm coming. But if you still want to scare us at least turn the sprinklers on or something. I think I could hear birds chirping in the background.
Fresno appears to be getting it hat hard, it’s 10 pm.
Thank you God.
Yeah California and Florida have different environments. A full blown hurricane isn't even a factor in the southwest.
Has passed? Seems like there's way more wind now .
