The whole album cooks but this track has my favorite Bass lines by Shuman. This song is funky as all hell then the chorus swats you over the head with a frying pan. It's perfection.

Last night I safely said I like 4 songs off the album (this and the 3 singles). After listening to the album twice more today, peephole and the final track have grown massively. Every other track apart from Sicily (cant get into it at all) is continuing to grow with each listen!
Yeah, Carnavoyeur didn't hook me at first. But the energy it brings towards the end, and the background with how Josh beat cancer puts the song into perspective I wasn't getting before. Only wish it was more towards the end of the album, again with how it ends

i love how each song feels like its something we've heard yet has a new sound! gotta say thanks to my dad for showing me this band. never will there be a band like the queens!
I'm an 80's baby so I grew up on Metallica & motley but when it comes to qotsa they are totally something else! I loved all of their earlier projects and I love all of their stuff still! I just feel attached to them almost in a strange way vocals are always melodic and the sound is always fun and intriguing. I listened to this band transform from young to mature and they never seem to disappoint thank you for another gem guys I really appreciate it don't care how long it takes but I'm already looking forward to the next one!
I introduced Kyuss and QOTSA to my daughter as well. and she loves me for it. so I gave her my whole record collection and told her to listen for influences.;-)

Another Queens masterpiece!
In a song, Josh Homme goes to that place where guys go when they're hurting without being too incel about it. When you're hurting, you just wanna get away from everything and everyone as a reflex, weary to leave anyone in and that's probably the worst thing to do because it gets worse from that point onwards.

This song is possibly my favourite off ITNR but there are so many good songs it may change in time. A real kick ass album, the boys certainly delivered the goods.
Yeah it's hard to choose. I'd say my favorite ATM is obscenery, paper machete, and mate to parade. But like every queens album, the song that doesn't click right away usually ends up being the favorite down the road. Like fortress and Unreborn again from villains
