AFS History Timeline

In 2014, AFS celebrates the centennial of the American Field Service, the organization that gave rise to the AFS Intercultural Programs as we know it today.
The American Field Service was a World War I and II volunteer ambulance and "camion" corps that helped transport hundreds of thousands of soldiers to safety from the battlefields in Europe.
