  • In 2014, AFS celebrates the centennial of the American Field Service, the organization that gave rise to the AFS Intercultural Programs as we know it today.
    The American Field Service was a World War I and II volunteer ambulance and "camion" corps that helped transport hundreds of thousands of soldiers to safety from the battlefields in Europe.

    i was an afs student from spain in harrisonville missouri with a wonderful family and i had a big experience and i could find work in europe for my english i wish somebody else could have my oportunity
