I've owned dozens. Have a racing license. Done track. Ridden well over a million km on two wheels. Taught thousands of people how to ride. And I run a motorcycle tour company. I'd say that qualifies as "expert".

Reason you use the parking stand is if you leave it for prolonged time on the road the wheels get flat spots. If the weight rests on one wheel, the other one will be fine. Also I left my bike on the center stand because kids loved to climb on it and it was steadier than the side stand. Now I miss having a center stand on the new one, chain cleaning was so easy...
I have a neighbour who screams at kids all day, slams doors, smokes.
Another with barking dogs.
Another who runs people off the road.
Also women seek out conflict because they don't think the threat of violence is a real thing. They don't enjoy it because once they've found the conflict, they soon realize physical violence is on the table. We men know from the get-go the threat of physical violence is always on the table, so we do our best to avoid it.
This woman, find the most petty way to annoy her that's within the law and then it's just a battle of attrition. Whoever has the most time and conviction will win.
You mentioned she yells at her kids for hours... maybe a concerned phone call to child abuse hotline is in order. Just call 113 and say you hear a lot of arguing and crying coming from her apartment.

Regarding the side vs center stand. It's because using the center stand saves more space if space is tight or like it's them painted paid spots by side of road. If there's plenty of room to park and everyone's parked with side stand down, then it don't matter.
I think I did read in a manual or something when I had my old Majesty S (S-Max) that they recommend the centre stand for parking for longer periods or something, but it doesn’t matter. It’s the kind of nitpicky thing someone would argue over when they have depression or anxiety. And I was definitely like that for a while before I managed to get my anxiety under control. Then, little things like that no longer bothered me.

She`s one of those lonely women who seek attention by any means. Such people enjoy argument because of emotions it gives them. Their life is a hollow without it.
