- In the debut of a new documentary series, Will Schusterick and Nathan Long compete in a PDGA A-tier tournament on Sept. 5-6, 2015: Spike Hyzer's Blockhouse (formerly known as The Grange) Labor Day Open. Every facet of the disc golf life--the grind, the laughter, the frustrations, the triumphs, the mundane--are chronicled as the camera follows every step of the teammates' weekend in Spotsylvania, Virginia.

I also love how positive the pros in this video are towards each other. Our weekly doubles league has become rife with people wishing you to miss putts out loud and general unprofessionalism which has discouraged people from attending and made a generally negative environment. They also made the club page private so a lot of new players are unable to join. It makes me feel good to see positivity in the sport. Thank you Marty!!!!!
Came here because Broderic mentioned it. I was watching disc golf at this point but had never heard of this documentary. Really gives you a feel for tour life back then. So many cool people. Love to see Chris Dickerson in here, and a Madison Walker spotting (Honk!).
I want to tour for a year
I kept putting off watching this and kept watching tournament coverage instead. I have to say this was awesome, as everything is from Marty, and I hope for more videos like this!!

Love your disc golf videos, but this one. The way it shows the lives of a touring pros, outside of tournaments is outstanding! I would love if you did some more of these type of videos. Super entertaining! Great Work Marty!

I know you showed a little of it, but is there usually a lot of backup on holes for those major tourneys? I'm sure it all gets edited out for the final video to keep it short.

it's funny how you can shoot anything 'documentary style' and it will look cool. this is just a couple of guys in baseball hats playing disc golf, driving around and eating fast food but it looks really cool cause everything goes in and out of focus.

+Mike Riemer I was wondering the same thing. It sounded like he made a snark, then redacted it. Something about the last frame. Maybe he was asking the cameraman if he got the shot and then realized he was out of line since it was a prodigy film. shit i dunno. haha.
I think he was saying "star frame" meaning everybody birdied the last hole, but then he realized somebody named Steven did not birdie, and apologized, as it would not then be a star frame.
